Ch 33: Reunion

Hajime and Rimuru drilled through the floors of the Orcus Dungeon to get there as quickly as possible. Ciel analyzed the best spot and Rimuru used a magic circle of Disintegration to pierce the floors.

Kaori and Shizuku were about to be killed and they saved them from the brink of death. This could be considered coming at short notice.

Kaori called Hajime's name. She realized that it was really him with all his changes. His body was more muscular, his hair was white, and even the aura around him had changed, but Kaori knew it. That gentle gaze was the same as that of the person who made her fall into despair for falling into the abyss.

Shizuku didn't recognize Hajime, but called out to Rimuru who hadn't changed at all. He was looking at her with a smile.

"Are you okay Shizuku-chan? Here take this."

He threw a healing potion on Shizuku and she was surprised to have all her injuries healed. At this moment the other members began to descend.

Hajime picked up Yue like a princess and gently dropped her to the ground. Rimuru did the same to Sakura and Shia was sad to be left aside. Kosuke fell to the ground and everyone ignored him.

"Hey, Rimuru! What was that magic!? How is it possible to disintegrate the ground like that!?"

""Endo?"

His colleagues were surprised to see Kosuke.

At this moment...

*TCHIN*

Two swords clashed in the air. Rimuru stopped a man with white hair and skin who was trying to cut off Shia's head. Milo gave a smile at having his attack intercepted and stepped back. All the others were shocked by the man's speed and widened their eyes.

The only ones who could see Milo were Hajime and Sakura, but they saw that Rimuru would defend the attack and did nothing.

"Hajime-kun, let me take care of this one. Shia-chan, take this and heal Meld-san."

"Ri...right."

Rimuru handed Shia a healing potion and pointed to Meld lying on the ground. Shia agreed and walked toward him. Shia's voice trembled a little as she realized that she was almost beheaded. Rimuru went into battle with Milo.

"Cattleya, kill everyone. I'll kill this one and then help you."

Milo spoke and attacked again.

The students were surprised by the various strange events. Kosuke saw them and waved.

"Guys! I brought help!"

They looked at the help that Kosuke pointed to. The boy with white hair and black clothes. Hajime didn't even look at them and spoke to Yue.

"Yue, could you protect them for me?"

"Hmhm."

Yue agreed and slowly walked over to her classmates. Hajime turned to Sakura.

"Sakura, You..."

"I will protect these two. In case you need help just call."

She spoke and took out her katanas from the Treasure Chest. At this moment Kaori approached.

"Hajime-kun..."

"Eh? This is Nagumo-kun!?"

Kaori called out to Hajime and Shizuku was confused. Kaori was worried as she thought Hajime had come here to die. Hajime just ignored Shizuku and spoke to Kaori.

"Don't worry Kaori. Just stay here and wait for me."

Hajime said this and pulled out 2 giant crosses from his Treasure Chest. These were cross drills that could be controlled by Hajime and contained machine guns and would help him kill the monsters.

Kaori and Shizuku were surprised by the unknown objects and said nothing more. Hajime took a few steps forward and spoke

"Hey you there. If you run away now you might stay alive."

"What did you say?"

"I didn't come here to kill you, I'll only do that if you stay here."

Hajime advised Cattleya to surrender. ReHajime had no interest in killing her. He just wanted to save Kaori and would save the Hero's group as a bonus. If Cattleya wanted to run away he wouldn't mind.

"You must be joking. Kill him!"

She ordered and the space next to Hajime blurred and a Chimera attacked him. Kaori and Shizuku tried to alert him, but it wasn't necessary.

"Oi Oi Oi, what's that? Are you a street mage?"

Hajime used his metal arm and threw the chimera away. To Hajime invisibility was nothing, that was because he had 'Detect Presence'. Cattleya was surprised and ordered the others to the attack. Hajime pulled Donner and Schlag out and went on the attack.

Two Brutals tried to attack him, but were met by shots to their heads. A super fast black cat attacked him from behind and Hajime just moved his metal arm to kill it.

*DOPAN *DOPAN *DOPAN *DOPAN

He shot several Chimeras that were invisible and they fell dead. Cattleya and the students were stunned and Cattleya sent another horde of monsters.

5 Brutals tried to attack Hajime.

He would shoot and kill, simple as that. He momentarily stopped to reload and kicked the 4-eyed wolf that tried to attack stealthily.

"Hiiu!"

The wolf gave a cry of pain and was thrown far away. 3 black cats attacked at the same time and Hajime easily killed them with shots. The same happened with 2 Chimeras that tried an attack from above. No matter how you looked at it it was a one-sided battle.

"Who is he..."

Kouki was leaning on Ryutaru asked the students, but none of them seemed to know. They all wanted to know who this overwhelmingly powerful person was. Some of them were also staring at the battle between Milo and Rimuru that only left sparks of swords and shadows behind.

At this moment the voice of someone who had been forgotten(as usual) was heard.

"You guys may not believe it, but he is Nagumo."

"""Huh?"""

Kosuke spoke and everyone looked at him as if to say "Did he hit his head?" To them Hajime was dead and even if he was alive there was no way he could have such strength. Kosuke smiled and said.

"It's serious. I was surprised when I found out too, but he crawled out of the abyss with his own strength. That really is him."

Kosuke also added that he had seen the Status board. The students believed and were happy that Hajime was alive. Even the boys who envied him because of Kaori were happy. The death of a classmate was a great sorrow in their minds.

Kosuke also said that the person fighting at high speed was Rimuru. Only one person was not happy for the survival of his colleagues, it was Hyama.

"What the fuck are you talking about!? Huh!? Nagumo is dead! We all agree on that! There's no way that can be true!"

Hyama grabbed Kosuke by the collar and tried to deny reality. His appearance was so unbalanced that the students were startled. Even Kondo and his close friends had never seen him like this before and were startled.

"It's serious. I even saw his Status board..."

"Th...Then he must have faked it! That's right, he must be planning something really bad!"

"What's wrong with you!? There's no reason for him to do that."

The other students tried to pull Hyama away from Kosuke, but it wasn't necessary as he received a bucket of cold water. Literally.

At this moment several Brutals came toward the students. Cattleya probably thought of taking a hostage to save herself.

Suzu was going to make a barrier, but Yue reassured her and raised her hand.

"Blue Dragon."

A blue fireball formed above the monsters. The fire mages knew this magic and were astonished that Yue could activate it without singing, but it was not the end.

The fireball took the shape of a dragon and went towards the monsters. The dragon opened its mouth and the monsters seemed to jump towards it. However you could see that this was not what was happening because of their screams of horror. The students stupefied and one of them spoke "What magic is that!?" Indignant.

This was Yue's gravity and fire magic. She was quite similar to the Thunder Dragon, but of the fire element. The blue dragon surrounded the ordeal of monsters killing them all.

The students saw how powerful Yue was and were delighted. This was also because of her beauty and many of them fell in love on the spot. Even Suzu let out a perverted voice.

Cattleya realized that she would not get a hostage from the heroes and attacked Kaori and Shizuku.

5 Brutals went towards them and Shizuku prepared to fight.

"Don't worry."

Sakura spoke and took out her blue katana. She went towards the Brutals and made her sword glow.

"Winter petals."

Several white flower petals came out of Sakura's sword and went towards the Brutals. They went at high speed and when they hit them the Brutals had their bodies frozen.

Kaori and Shizuku could only stare in amazement at the beautiful young woman who killed powerful monsters easily.

"Shizuku-chan, how is your arm?"

Kaori asked worried about Shizuku who had broken her arm.

"I'm fine. Rimuru-kun gave me a strange potion that healed me."

"I see..."

They looked in the direction of Rimuru and Milo.

In truth this battle that no one could keep up with was just Rimuru and Milo warming up.

"You are not like the other demons."

"You are not like other humans."

Rimuru and Milo commented and crossed their swords once again. This Milo had the same strength as an unawakened demon lord and was a little weaker than Hajime. Rimuru didn't know that there was someone so strong among the demons, so he made his comment.

They were exchanging blows at high speed and Rimuru decided to take it a little more seriously.

"Purple flame."

He threw a somewhat strong flame at Milo. He didn't use his black flames as he wanted to see more of Milo's strength and thought the black flames would kill him on the spot.

"Darkness Breaking."

He made a black barrier that defended the flames.

"I Don't know who you are, but I have a feeling the best thing to do is to kill you now. Blood Ritual!"

In fact if Milo had known who Rimuru was, he would have run by now. Milo finished speaking and used his sword to slash his wrists. The blood dripping from his wrists was glowing and turning into magical power. Milo's eyes and mouth also began to bleed and he looked at Rimuru with a sinister smile.

Rimuru put himself on guard and Milo pulled out his sword which was now black.

"Dark blade!"

His sword glowed in a purple and released a blade of light that contained great strength. The blade went toward Rimuru.

"Demonic blade."

Rimuru's katana was covered by a black energy and released a black blade to counter Milo's attack.

The two blades clashed and a thud resounded. Rimuru's attack easily outweighed Milo's and with difficulty he dodged the attack. Milo gave an angry shout.

"I will cut you to pieces!"

Milo was angry at having his attack overcome and decided to unleash his full strength. His skin began to turn black and so did his hair. He dropped his sword and his nails grew into claws.

"Dark transformation!"

Milo was angry at having to use all of himself to defeat an opponent, but he didn't hesitate and set out to attack.

Meanwhile.

Cattleya tried to attack Shia with her monsters, but they were easily crushed.

"Tsk. There are only monsters here.""

She cursed and ordered Absod to attack. Hajime saw the giant turtle carrying a powerful magic attack and pulled up his shield. A crash resounded as the shield defended the magic attack and Hajime had an idea. He tilted his shield at an angle to attack the woman of the demon race.

Cattleya dodged, but the white healing raven on her shoulder was killed. Hajime was going to continue the attack, but Absod ran out of charge.

"This is my last chance."

Cattleya spoke and began reciting a magic. Hajime just ignored her and killed the rest of the surrounding monsters.

"Nagumo! Watch out for that magic!"

Kouki gave a warning shout. Hajime looked at Cattleya and she had finished chanting her magic. A gray smoke drifted toward Hajime and surrounded him. Cattleya was about to run when she saw Hajime in front of her aiming at Donner.

"You monster!"

She cursed at him and Hajime brought his gun closer.

"It's not so bad to become a monster, you know?"

In the Rimuru fight...

Milo was using all his power and Rimuru decided to stop playing around. Milo concentrated all his power in his claws and attacked Rimuru.

"Die!"

He made a slash and was defended by Rimuru's Katana. Rimuru grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up. Milo was trying to get loose, but couldn't.

"What are you..."

"Expelling high level spirit."

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Milo gave a horrified shriek. Rimuru had already guessed the source of Milo's power. At first Rimuru thought it was a fusion with a demon, but it was something even rarer. He had merged with a dark spirit that was the strongest type after the 'Great Spirits of Space and Time' Rimuru expelled the spirit and with that Milo lost all his powers.

"You bastard."

Milo fell to his knees and supported himself with his arms. Rimuru picked him up and brought him close to the others. He reached over and saw Hajime aiming the gun at the demon woman. Hajime saw that Rimuru had defeated his enemy and turned his gaze to Cattleya.

"Good. I don't want your last words. Are you going to tell me something?"

He asks and Cattleya denies it.

"Actually, I can already guess what you are doing here. You've come to dominate the Dungeon, right?"

"What?"

"You came after the magic of the gods. That might have something to do with the demons controlling the magical Beasts as well."

"I see. So you are like him..."

"I think you mean the person who mastered a dungeon. Since you won't reveal anything, then die."

"Wait, Nagumo!"

A voice interrupted Hajime from pulling the trigger. Hajime didn't even look as he already knew who it was. It was our hero Kouki.

"Don't kill her! Prisoner, let's take her as a prisoner. I am the hero and Nagumo is my companion. I can't let you Kill someone defenseless. So..."

"Hell Flare."

Hajime thought it would be a pain in the ass to argue and pulled the trigger. Rimuru was also not going to leave someone as dangerous as Milo alive and burned his body to Ash using hell Flare. Even though Milo had lost his connection with the dark spirit he could regain it after a while and the best thing to do would be to kill him.

Kouki muttered in amazement. All the students were also dumbfounded. Seeing their classmates kill people so easily, without any hesitation scared them a little. Especially since it was Rimuru and Hajime who were known for their kindness. The only one who wasn't so surprised was Shizuku who had talked to Rimuru about killing people and knew that he would do it without hesitation if he had to.

The person most surprised was Kaori. Not because of the murder, she knew there would be a lot of that in a war and even if indirectly, she would cause people to die . What surprised her was Hajime doing this without hesitation or bitterness . The Hajime she knew was gentle and would avoid using violence, he was the kind of person who wouldn't strike back because he didn't like violence and Kaori couldn't imagine him killing someone without hesitation .

Hajime ignored them and walked towards Shia.

"Hey Shia how's Meld?"

"Don't worry. Rimuru-san's potion works really well."

Meld was helping Hajime in his training and also keeping the Bullys away. Even though he was from the Church, Meld never tried to force his teachings on the students. He was a good person and Hajime would not like it if he died. Rimuru was also very fond of Meld and knew that he was someone of character.

Rimuru walked toward Shizuku.

"Are you okay Shizuku-chan?"

While Rimuru was talking to Shizuku the students regained their senses and started looking at Rimuru and Hajime alternately. They didn't understand how they could act so naturally in this situation.

Kouki was interrupted by Kaori who asked about Meld. Hajime also noticed that Kaori was now calling him by his first name, but decided not to say anything.
