Change in daily routine

Currently, my day is nothing but exhausting. I like this somehow because writing a diary is kind of mandatory, as it has been passed that everyone who excelled wrote a diary. It's an enchanted book made by my granddad, who is a god, so anyone below can't open it forcefully; if they did, it would burn. I still don't believe in secrecy, but enhancement can be activated by me too, and I don't think that old man would be that interested in me.

As he was talking to himself, there was no one to tell him. He was wrong, but thankfully, because of his secrecy, he didn't write properly. He also wrote in his language, making the old man more suspicious. He was digging his own grave.

He wrote:

"Here, I thought this old man was my servant. Sigh, how delusional I was. Are all old men in this world like this? Deadly.

Yep, yesterday, I saw him kill a monstrous entity. It looked like a human with horns, no, a totally different species that killed my maid and four guards in an instant. But after seeing this so-called butler, it was so terrified and was begging for life, then a few seconds later begged for death. I felt that its eyes were telling me its pain and its fear.

Then with a swipe of his hand, whoosh, the monstrous humanoid creature was gone just like that.

It became a dark cloud and joined his shadow. I don't even want to write this diary, but to change my habit of talking to myself too extensively, I feel like the long duration of my isolated journey made me like this. Although I don't talk loud, it's bad. I am perplexed if it's normal.

In my previous life, I had a chip on me. It was outdated, but still, I don't believe the federation. What if they were limiting my thoughts, telling me that it was a focus feature?

Like in the pre-federation era, what if they were all the same?"

His routine was nothing but perfect, as he had to wake up at 3:30 and run to the mountaintop temple. After that, he had to run up within 15–20 minutes. Even athletes would struggle, but because of his initial hard work and the bloodline he possessed, this was not an out-of-this-world thing for anyone, more like the minimum requirements.

He then had to ring all the big bells of this weirdly semi-open temple. One would hardly call this temple as there were only bell holders and a giant stone statue of Demigods, who were gods but were born as demons. That's the story of this god; he was "the god of protection" for farmers. Vanara.

It was believed by the locals that Varaha, as one of the avatars that were blessed by the god of balance, called Vishwa Karma, also called Kartha, had to arrive early to seek permission and learn about this demigod from the chieftain.

As he prayed with the butler, the demigod distended. He was a four-armed humanoid, scary, and divine boar-looking beast. It had a visible aura; it was orange with a little golden color and a white circle behind its head. It was like a shadow of his crown, but white and a circle.

Arian looked at how the chief was reacting with teary eyes, saying it was an unusual experience. He was sure this was further evoking the old butler's powers; this was making him realize how scary his backing half-god was.

He felt shivers and goosebumps when he looked at the god. He met its eyes, and he bent down intentionally. After that, he looked at the chieftain, and he saw how he bowed down.

Then, as he was in that position, eyes on the ground, there was some kind of rumble. After a while, he felt a warm feeling, and the towering presence left.

When he looked at this, there was not a day in this world when he didn't feel like encountering something absurd and weird.

He felt overwhelmed mentally and physically by this; although it was exciting, it was times like this that made him feel this trauma again, which made him cautious and made him remember and feel that power is everything; without it, he would be brutally killed and played, and people would be suspicious of him.

He meditated until 5 a.m.; he was told he had to meditate at 3:45, as from 3:45 to 4:15 some kind of mystical energy flow happens, and Demigod will be present meditating with him to help him feel this energy.

But little did he know that this was the key part of all major families in training and trying to make their children into half-gods.

And also, he was good at the start, to the point where Demigod was surprised that this kid was trying to absorb it.

But he was told by that old butler to not teach him but rather support whatever he does and only stop it when it is dangerous.

"This kid is not normal at all. Being able to feel this is something that only a few would achieve, let alone manipulate.

To Arain, it was all mana, but just a powerful one. He was greatly mistaken, but it worked in his favor. After 5:30, the old Butler came. He was not surprised at first when he saw Arian still meditating after talking with the demigod like he was some kind of mentor or some minor celebrity. He looked at Arian with a knowing smile, which was a complete misunderstanding.

Coming back filled with energy, Arian did his combat drills of slashing, cutting, and other basic exercises. With the speed and number of slashes, even sword masters of the old world would be speechless.

But that was how this world was, as everything absorbed energy, the earth was 10 times stronger, everything was stronger, and even normal farmers would give a run for money to pro athletes.

After that, he was given a break to read in the library.

"What shall I read: ancient myths and tales or a species dictionary? Ah, let's go with myths.

After reading, "Ahh, this is so confusing. This story says that Asuras were corrupted. This says they were cursed for using Naga artifacts to power up.

So I need to not only decode this but also read between the lines. If Asuras were cursed using Naga god-given artifacts, then why was there a great war? Which one of these stories is true?

But if true gods are involved and active in that religion, okay, so what are these demons?

Let me sum this up: Asuras are intelligent like humans, crafty like dwarfs, and long-living like any other old-period beings with orc-like strength and vitality. They were like humans, diversified in various types of magic.

Whereas Nagas who were God's favorites; their leaders were God's pets and vehicles; they were true masters of poison, illusion, and curse magic; they were masters of body alteration.

Dude, Nagas kind of sound like privileged, villainous bastards. No, I really shouldn't really go with scenario types.

Why did they still go extended? Well, they have descendants, but some say they might not be the same.

Ah, let me read this guy's conclusion first."

While trying to discover if there was some hidden meaning or conclusion like most guys named Yurshi books had, Arian slips the book making it hit the wall, and the sound it produced suggested it was hollow inside. He curiously looked around just as he was about to punch it through when he saw a small difference in the texture of a wall, which was small and well blended. He pressed it, and the wall opened, revealing beautiful gems and magic arrays filling two shelves that were equipped with beast cores and a book.

He then noticed a book about magic just as he was picking it up, his finger was scratched. A magical notification came.
