Trust me when it was Old English the rules are complicated because you are using basically Germanic root. But you know how people laziness creates invention. That's why right now it is simple.
Thankfully, the alphabet wasn't hard to grasp. The writing was a system that represented the mix of consonants and vowels with two columns. The first column would represent the consonant, or its lack when a word started with a vowel and the second column represented the vowel. See finally the author said it. How can mc be this bland know how to react to strange things in the first place. I didn't see any problems with how the mc behaved earlier. Actually from real life perspective all his action until now not stupid at all but normal as one would behave in current situation.

Understandable, with no one to compare to, these abilities must have been really weird to exist in the current timeline. People who suddenly accepting magic is the one who is depressed enough to not be in regular world. Which probably most of the comments here.

Not a perfect score but based only on the typos which will affecting the reading experience in really simple way, I found many of these but should you read it, doesn't really cause major concern. The story on the other side has been planned out really detailed to the smallest things. This is a good book about character progression and how each character has their own personality which is a breath of fresh wind. The story has been progressing well and I noticed it's still the tip of the iceberg.

Definitely worth reading! Yes might be really thick plot armor but what made it interesting is how the author introduce several elements in the beginning of the story without finishing it first so there's always something to wait for! This is part of world building and I could say the best way to build a world around a story without giving too much information but keep us on the edge. Characters have their own mysteries to unravel and also well thought-out personal development. I really hope the ending won't feel cheesy. But so far I never had any complaints!
