how come we still haven't seen a thing about him leveling up? he's come across tons of people that have leveled now and he sits at zero

this is just...boring. going through every single battle, full play by play of every team is overkill

I made it to chapter 5 before knowing I couldn't keep going. MC gets the option to speed up time and spends 3 years in an empty white space training a single skill. and there is zero mention of the mental strain that would impose on his psyche. I fully understand it's early to write a review, but it seems very half hearted writing to not take things like that into consideration, and it doesn't seem worthwhile to continue reading further if that is what will happen throughout the story.
