I think some numbers and clarification are in order for timeline and age. was Lucian only 6 when they met, or 8? she is apparently 9 now and was introduced as 8, but according to this chapter Damian has known the maid for 3 years, and would be 8 himself now.

the timelines dont add up. Lucian was introduced as 8 years old, 3 years older than him (5 yr old). now she is going to do her ascension at the age of 9, being the youngest in the entire area. if he stayed at the barons for 3 years, she would be 11, him 8.

probably because it could potentially take a long time and needs peace and calm. they came back to a war so it was likely unsafe to assimilate it
