C'mon... At least run this through Word or an AI of some kind. This reads like a first draft written by a middle schooler. I get that it's a translation, but that's no excuse with all the free tools or there.
It's like Disney does westeros, but zero struggle or plot. And yes, that's just as boring as it sounds. Nothing really happens. It's all just family feel good moments and exposition. The MC's abilities and his dragon have absolutely no impact as of 50+ chapters in. And what's with this annoying anime trend of making child MC's that act like adults... It's weird and creepy.
This isn't a chapters, it's barely a page...
This isn't really a story. There is no struggle, conflict, or growth. It's more like a timeline of events where the MC just just does whatever comes to mind. It could be a story, but in it's current form it's just the ideas for one.
It's was mildly interesting, but then it takes a nose dive off a cliff in to randomness and suddenly ends. Pretty sure the author just got lost in the sauce and ran out of ideas about halfway through. No updates in years, unfinished story... Meh
I don't understand all the positive reviews. The MC is a weak minded loser, and the writing is meh. I think it was written for depressed teenagers and just resonated with that crowd? If you are an adult and not suffering from self loathing, just skip it.
This whole premise is dumb.
I didn't understand all the positive reviews. This reads like it was written by a middle schooler. There might be a decent story here, but it's like listening to a child fumble through their ideas for a self insert power fantasy. At least run it through an AI editing tool or something... It doesn't cost anything but time to clean this up.
Why is the MC so stupid?
So it wasn't ai that decided to "tuck his coffee in to his pocket", or fumble through a bad description of new England after clearly starting he woke up in Boston? Using AI is fine, lying about it is just weird.
