Have enjoyed this so far. I'm not a fan of overly cold MC's who distance themselves from any friends or potential partners. I'd hope MC will in future enjoy some time spent with another person.

Lol, there's just as many if not more novels that also have corrupt governments and rulers too you silly silly. Usually the MCs in those novels are the only ones who do occasional good deeds, and then only in a begrudging, -'don't think I'm a good person'- way.

it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. MC, you've got fists, start thinking with them. ...If you skip past the paragraphs of bloat and the BS moments, it's quite good.

Amazing! fast moving plot, so damn good! Has short sweet smut, MC is a decent shameless guy, he doesn't do much forcing. the plot keeps you on your toes, I haven't read anything this good in a while. PEAK

They're sharing a lot of similarities with humans, they're partners to a human, they're learning emotional intelligence to the level of a human, they're configuring their bodies to be human adjacent. this felt really off to me. spasming on the floor? yuck. can't bring myself to laugh at something so close to domestic abuse.

Maybe, because he's just been brought to this world, he's a powerless baby, and she's the first bug person he formed a relationship with. Also, she's his first bug love. lol

yeah, I'm seeing the formulaic nature of it, repetitive dialogues and no character progression beyond friends at CH 142. Was waiting for it to get better. I'd not pegged it as AI. How's everyone deciding that? just repetitive + soulless = AI? I really loved the premise of this one, shame.
