This slightly pains me. I tend to read a lot of crafting and trade fantasy books and turtle shells are known to be great for defense, especially for tanks. He could’ve kept the corps to sell to the blacksmith.

Could charisma be control of one’s presence. He got stronger after assimilating the first fox gene and when he found the next one the Range in which it detected him increased. This could either be because he or the fox were stronger. Just something interesting I thought of!

I love this story so far!!! The world building is amazing and I love the characters personalities! I can’t wait to see wait to see how this ends!!!
