In general, both in the original and now in Charlotte Linlin's Country there were never buccaneers, since Kuma is considered the last of them.

I understand the dislike for Oden, he was a stupid character in the manga, but now he's suffering for something he hasn't done yet...

It's a good story. The author respected canon by including seemingly unimportant characters like Golden Woonan, Ibadonbo, Naguri, and others. References to characters like Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa, Calypso, and Davy Jones are also well-done, making it easier to form character images. It's worth noting that many things don't align with canon, but this can be attributed to the author writing the story when the details weren't yet known—but I think it's even better that way. The story is unusual and captivating; it's the same One Piece we know, but at the same time, it's different, telling a unique story.

hmm... most Zoan fruits are bananas?.. I don't remember this from canon. Can you tell me where it says this?[img=thinking]

The beginning was very unusual and intriguing. This is the first fanfic I've seen with such a unique idea. But I got really bored after the chapters where he infiltrated Mary Geoise. After that, the plot became pretty boring, the main character became the strongest and the other pirates stopped being a problem. A good idea was essentially wasted. Maybe someone else will like it, but personally, I wasn't really into the continuation.

Most likely, this fanfic began to appear before the original revealed what happened in the Valley of the Gods, so the author did not yet know about Shakyaku's role in the plot

The story itself is good, but I don't like a few details. I like it when authors don't distort the world as they please but treat the original with respect, so I'll point out a few inconsistencies: The opinion that martial arts are abandoned in MHA and All Might is just a meathead without technique completely contradicts the canon. This is a typical fanfiction trope to artificially elevate the MC. In reality, close combat thrives in this world: there is Gunhead's official martial arts school, Ojiro literally bears the title "Martial Arts Hero," and Aizawa takes out crowds of enemies using only hand-to-hand combat while erasing their quirks. The complaint about All Might is also off the mark. He was trained by Gran Torino—a master of speed and timing. Toshinori's style is not a lack of technique, but perfect biomechanics for his level of power. Doing Taekwondo spinning kicks for a guy who changes the weather with one punch is just pointless and inefficient. Yes, young quirk-centric characters (like Todoroki at the beginning) neglect CQC, but the world itself definitely hasn't abandoned martial arts. Also, I don't really understand this craving for martial arts if he wants to become a hero. Combat sports teach you to win on points or score a knockout. Heroes have a different task—to detain and neutralize, and often in a crowd of civilians. A boxer will just beat the enemy up instead of restraining them.

Why does the main character act like an idiot? What's with all the constant comments about him being a "cultured man"? It's like I'm reading a story by a pubescent teenager.

Every line he says ends with "!" because he's a moron? So, decide for yourself whether he's Knox or Shiki.
