I had to read this chapter twice. I’m honestly so conflicted right now. Part of me wants to reread the whole book just to see if I can feel something for Connor 😂. I get that he’s been through a lot, but at the same time, he’s put Edward through so much too. His inferiority complex toward Edward really frustrates me, and I don’t love that now that he’s healed, he thinks he can just walk back into Edward’s life after leaving him broken. It feels… selfish. And I can already see Harper’s heartbreak coming 🫣. I’m really curious to see what Connor is going to say next.
