In my honest opinion, this story is basically cyanide wrapped in a thin layer of ice. There are a few elements that initially seem promising and make you want to keep reading, but they’re buried under utter garbage. The MC’s personality constantly swings between stupidity, unnecessary cruelty, and random bouts of madness, making him incredibly frustrating to follow. I’m only writing this review because I dropped the novel after the first few chapters, then came back later out of curiosity. The sword-making aspect had a lot of potential, and I wanted to see where it went, but I still couldn’t stick with it for long. There are plenty of lord-building novels out there, yet it’s surprisingly rare to find one that actually gets the genre right. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of them.

I am wondering were the Gordon clan will go after all this, it will be hard for them to live in a kindgdom where the king wants them dead and they have so many enemies. It will be fun to see what the author comes up with

I am not like likening this development, Ves is proving to be more of a dark side mad man that will do anything for his goals and he is quite hypocritical
