Not really a fan of the MC, not only do they not make sense, but what they achieve doesn't feel earned. Like at the very start of the story, the MC is given some great Mcguffin that strengthens him, speeds up his cultivation, helps remove impurities, heals him, and cures poison. And that's just at the beginning of the story, I'm positive even more nonsense powers will appear next. The MC didn't earn this either, just found it on a dead guy and stole it. Yes yes, I know: "Well this kinda stuff happens all the time in Wuxia novels." You're right it does, and it's also badly done in those stories too. Getting used to eating dirt does not magically make that dirt taste good. The MC's progression in the story doesn't make any sense either. He's just some no-name kid who lived in the slums. Yet the story treats it as if it's a good reason for him to be so experienced. Enough mental strength to let himself be burned alive so he can counterattack. Experienced enough to stalk cultivators and assassinate them. And other such nonsense. Again, this was some no-name street rat who hadn't even cultivated until just recently. I tried to ignore it and give it a chance, but 50 chapters is plenty of time for it to finally: "Get good."
One more 1 star review for good measure. If someone can spam five-star reviews seven times, then it is only fair I can spam one star reviews as well.

It's got some good to it, but it's hard to see with all the bad. This story is super heavy with narration being like 70% descriptions and 30% actual story. What worse is that this is a fanfic so it's completely unnecessary. People wouldn't be reading this if they didn't already know about Bleach. And to top it off, the MC is a cringy little edge lord who goes on and on about dominance and chaos. With the same person giving this 5 stars six times, I'm inclined to believe they're either a friend of the author, of the author themselves, because this story certainly doesn't deserve it.
