I don't know if the author has taken my criticism into account but I find that the last 4 chapters are really good in terms of building the side characters. If I had to rate them independently of the rest, I'd give them 5/5 for the characters.

-The writer is pretty good. He doesn't constantly repeat himself, he makes strong choices, he has a sense of humor without overdoing it and manages to convey the feelings he wants. -Domination by making the human cruelty of the shinobi world of the Narutoverse more "realistic" has disturbing moments... so it's interesting. -I have to remove 2 stars for character design. For me, apart from the MC, I have a hard time having empathy (understanding them intellectually and emotionally) for the characters. I don't feel any depth in them. That they all have internal goals, motivations and values that conflict with each other.
