The way I wrapped my head around it is that they have diplomatic immunity of some kind. Ofc they are still going to be captured and tried for crimes they are caught doing, but preemptively attacking them would likely spark conflict with Snezhnaya, and most of the other countries aren't really prepared to fight a country that has a ton of soldiers capable of welding delusions not to mention harbingers that are rumored to even rival archons in strength.
hand drawn, changed her hairstyle and outfit to match Fontaine's aesthetic.
it's perfectly fine, I struggled with the same problem when I was younger, still do occasionally. I do my best to assume good intent.
ah, that would make more sense. I would have labeled it as a manual and not a blueprint if that was the case, and the rank of that item would probably fall in the A+ rank.
Ah I see, whelp, not much I can do then. His adoption will play a part in a plot in the near future. I'm glad you at least enjoyed it this far. Most of the time when Livre and Carman are interacting it will be in a mentoring capacity, but there will be times where Livre takes on a fatherly role. do forgive the liberties I have taken in writing his character, but it's not like I have much material to work off of. And thank you for your honesty, while it's probably not going to change much about how I write this story I would love to know what about adoption puts you off in fanfics. If you're comfortable sharing that is, no pressure though, it's just my curiosity.
Heya Evfrnet, I hope your doing well, I've make a few comments before, and I still stand firmly by my statement that the development of your characters is something that is lacking in many stories nowadays. I love the way you write the characters, taking the time to think how events would affect them mentally and emotionally and showing how they are growing past their trauma. I sincerely hope that you are doing well and are taking time to take care of yourself. I know I'm just some joe who picked up the story more recently, but you've got an avid fan base who can't wait for you to come back even if it's an update on your hiatus. wishing you the best
Heya Author, just wanted to see if you're still around. I've enjoyed your story so far and would love to see where you take it. not many fics start in Mondstat nowadays. I like seeing your interpretation of the characters are you doing alright? It's been a month since your last post. Make sure to take care of yourself.
I didn't think about that possibilty until you brought it up. now I'm going to stay up at night debating how much a part of human nature degeneracy is. Because I can 100% see an eccentric noble try only to get springlocked.
Oh? Is there any particular reason? Does it feel a bit rushed? Cause I can see that, I've been a bit liberal with time skips as of late. I know how the characters interact with one another and how their relationship and views with/on one another change over time. and I certainly don't think I've done the development between Livre and Carman's bond justice. however, the adoption is also a bit rushed from the characters' viewpoint as well having only known each other for a few months, but Livre doesn't want a noble to swoop in and take advantage of Carman being a orphan. Yes the house could have used different means to take Carman from the Orphanage, however, at that point in the timeline (at least in my story) Arlecchino/Peruere has just recently defeated "Mother" and become the Knave and leader of the House of the Hearth, so she was still consolidating her power and resources when Carman became a point of interest. Risking destabilizing her position by hastily calling on assets she didn't have full control over to bring a single child into the fold likely would be the last thing shou would do. However after Carman's talent becomes widespread there will be some interaction between the House and Carman.
the rankings of blueprints are based on the difficulty of manufacturing the end product.( it is my personal assessment/ranking, so I may change them after further research). making body weights is not an overly complicated process, but the alloy needed to make these particular weights in Teyvat increases the difficulty. to put it into perspective, if Carman got the blueprints to Ryuzu's sister, AnchoR, would be classified as a rank S blueprint due to not only the difficulty in producing the parts, but also assembling a sentient construct capable of warping dimensions and tearing through the fabric of Space-Time. not to be confused with Ryuzu who basiclally overclocks her system for a temporary yet drastic increase in her perception of time compared to others, I think I'm going to rewrite it as her forcefully using a gravitational anomaly in her core to alter space time in a small area localized to her current position, kind of how time gets wonky as you move at different speeds, and as her core can canonically reverse the flow of gravity it should be possible. However I'm not a scientist so don't take the explanation I give to fictional powers as how physics works in the real world, who do you take me for? Game/Film Theory?
Good to see you back author. I hope the hiatus did wonders for you. I am glad to see you posting again and can't wait to see where you take the story.
Unusual_ are you doing alright? It's been close to a month. I hope that you are doing well. I hope that the popularity of this series isn't stressing you out. you have told a wonderful tale so far, don't worry about the potential backlash to a decision you make. this is your story, write it how you want to. People who are actually invested will stay to see where you take it. then again the delay could also just you taking your time to meticulously plot every detail on the scenes that will pluck on our heartstrings like an enthusiastic toddler. Whatever it is, I hope you are doing well.
not yet, kinda lost track of time, but will be watching the new season with friends now that summer is here and most of us are on break.
this was one of my favorite parts of the episode.
yeah, sorry, I wrote that description a while before the rest of the story and forgot to change it to be lore accurate. I intended to show that Carman had a strong will in the first chapters to explain why he had that title. There are other situations in the future that will show the strength of his will.
