Yeah, to be fair the early chapters' the pacing was a little too fast even for my taste, so I started making the newer chapter a little slower. The question for why he became a human is so that he would be able to pass through some of the magic barriers cast on the main cities and since he is technically a monster he won't freely be able to enter the first place.
