Thank you for the honest review. Adrian doesn't want to hurt her feelings by outright turning her down. He sees her as nothing more than a friend. His indecision comes from the assumption that by not giving an outright yes or no, she might get the clue and move on. That's a problem with real people as well; we tend to assume about others.

Follow a strong female lead through this story. The author writes well and the descriptions are easily immersive.
