Plus this new invention can be used by the Ash Family who have not produced a new type of gun in decades to show Britainia that they still have what it takes to produce new guns. This fact that the Family is desperate for new and outstanding types of guns would give Ezra more wiggle room for negotiations, they can't kill him and take the invention because he might just destroy the invention and if they kill him now who is to say that won't be a waste since he was capable of creating several new types gun in such a short time who is to say he wouldn't be able to make more in the future and if they kill him now can they be certain that there would be another person like him in the future. In essence he is too valuable to be lost, which means the family has no choice but to compromise a bit.

Honestly if Erza wants to gain recognition from the family for his intention, there are several firearms made out of steel from the 1800 to 1990 (mostly ww2 firearms) that are not really outstanding compared to modern firearms but in Britainia that the only known hand gun is the Revolver and the only known Assasult rifle is the AK 47 it would look like a stroke of genius. For example; 1.) Ezra can reveal the Colt 1911 and other 1911 guns (eg. Springfield Garrison 1911.45, Tisas 1911 Al etc. ) as his new design for hand guns(it made out of steel and the concept of Magazines exist from the AK 47 so it won't be too surprising or too suspicious but the concept is enough to be seen as genius. 2.) Ezar can release the Micro Uzi(1980) as a submachine hand gun which has never been taught of in Britainia. 3.) As for Assasult rifles like the Ak47, there others like the M16(1964) and the HK G3(1959) although he would not make much From the rights of this guns because they are not really different from the AK 47 unlike the Colt and Uzi that can be seen as a unique and out of the box invention, but at least introducing this new Assasult rifles would add more options to and variety to Britainia's collection. Best part is that all of them are made out of steel and although they are impressive invention especially the Micro uzi and Colt 1911, its more of a revolutionary out of the box thinking kind of Impressive instead of a revolutionary weapon of mass destruction kind of impressive. For Example the Micro Uzi can be seen as Erza finding a way to reduce the size of the AK 47 by combining it with the concept of a hand gun and the Colt 1911 can be seen as Ezra removing the round chamber from a Revolver and using the concept of a magazine from an Ak 47 in a hand gun. it an Idea that would definitely shake the elders but because it would make them understand that the Idea has been sitting in front of them all this time but because of their bias they refuse to think about it. Also if the Family buys the design right of the Colt 1911 and the other guns mentioned from Erza that money would be more than enough to open several shops while the family would have to protect him as a genius, So in essence unless Astrea plans on killing an extraordinary genius of the family, she won't be able to interfere between him and Felix anymore, best part is that compared to the vast array of firearms the knows about those reveald firearms can be called Relics.

Honestly I think Page is dumb for killing the girl as a Flora Alchemist, That girl would have been perfect for her as a subordinate.

ohh yh I forgot about that but it still feels like a waste to use his last spot for another Wyvren maybe he can act as a third party/ intermediary for Lilly to form a contract with the Female Wyvren, Like he forms a contract with the Female Wyvren and transfer the entire contract to Lilly, Lilly can only form contracts with Spirits but I am not sure if such Limitation exist if she is not the one who formed the contract directly. this way he doesn't loose his last taming spot and Lilly gains a Flying beast

I still think it's a waste for Leo to Contract both Wyvrens, it best if Lilly signed a contract with the female. For one i don't think Lilly would allow another woman to be so close to Leo regardless of if she is married or not and since those Wyvren are practically intelligent beast and can probably take human shape in the Future plus unlike Leo other beasts who are practically like Leo children even Howl was somewhat of a child when Leo tamed it, the Female Wyvren is a full grown woman who would probably be able to transform probably at the 4 star rank, Also the Demon mission is coming up soon and I think it would be a waste to use his last Taming slot on a beast that Lilly can have and he would still benefit from if Lilly tamed it. No matter how much Lilly trust Leo her Yandere nature would not allow her to let Leo form a contract with the Female Wyvren, it would be like Leo has a bond similar to a soul bond with another woman that isn't her and Yandere hate sharing the most. So it best to take the Female Wyvren out and let her form a contract with Lilly this way Lilly doesn't accidentally kill the Female Wyvren, Leo still gains some benefit from the bond with Lilly and Leo also keeps his Last space for whatever they find during the upcoming Demon mission.

Why does this feels like a future Enemies to Lovers scenario, the way they are beakering, it just smells too much of an Enemies to Lovers story.

they should be about 30 to 40 Wyvren eggs right (it should be more than this if we consider Hidimba children also layed eggs as well), does this not mean that the Ember family younger generation would all gain atleast one Wyvren or the Ember would start breeding Wyvrens. But out of the 40+ Wyvren eggs atleast 10 should have a super bloodline (since one of Hidimba wives never betrayed him) so we can be sure that out of the 10 super bloodline Wyvren aside from the city lord himself and the Family Elders, Vulcan would definitely be given one Wyvren with a Super bloodline while the rest of the main branch would most likely be given one Mortal bloodline Wyvren and the few exceptional talent in the side branches would gain atleast 1 ordinary bloodline Wyvren. Which means the Inter Academy competition is bound to be Fun, I am also very curious about the Ember family city reaction when he sees Nealith, he won't be able to threaten Leo for Nealith because the Professor and unlike Vulcan and that the other stupid heirs he would know that Leo is the first ranked student.
