Five stars. More people need to find this. I honestly didn't expect much going in, but this hooked me way harder than I thought. The MC actually has a personality and the author clearly knows how to write dialogues. Pacing is solid, the power system makes sense without needing too much brain power, and the humor actually lands instead of feeling forced. Writing quality is a cut above what you usually find on this platform. You can tell the author gives a damn. If you're on the fence, just read the free chapters.

I don't know why the guy spread fake news. It's either seven playing dead so all his online friends will stop contacting him or someone's plan to steal his novel. I don't think it's such a coincidence the next review after one sharing the news is about rewriting the novel.
