Synopsis

He died. Not by fate, not by accident, but as collateral in a hunt between beings beyond mortal comprehension. And yet… death was only the beginning. Chosen by a mysterious entity known only as Echo, a sarcastic soul from Earth is offered a chance at a second life. Gifted with ten draws from a divine treasury, he obtains powerful treasures, a rare bloodline, and a mysterious system known as the Limitless System. But what begins as a straightforward reincarnation takes a twisted turn when two dragon inheritances, Thunder and Fire collide within him. Reborn not as a man, nor as a beast, but as an unknown species, a fusion of human and two True Dragon Inheritances, he awakens in a scorched battlefield beside a dragon egg, unaware that his birth was witnessed by fate itself. After surviving the near-fatal clash of legacies within him, he emerges anew… no longer Zaroth, but Primus Xal’Zaryon Drakonis, a name that shakes the very fabric of mana around him. With his soul, body, and bloodline perfectly harmonized between human and dragon, Primus sets out into an unfamiliar world ruled by ancient clans, dangerous beasts, and kingdoms teetering on the edge of Eternal War. But power always draws attention, and with the secrets of his origin, the Limitless System at his side, and a destiny marked by a Primordial-level Mark of Fate, enemies will rise from shadows unknown. Chapter 1Showing Middle Finger to Dad

A young man was lying on his bed, scrolling through his phone.

"Ah, so bored, so fucking bored," he grumbled, rolling around.

In his hand was a phone with a bitten-banana logo on the back.

"Why are the updates so slow on this damn novel?" he muttered while reaching the end of a chapter.

He closed the novel app and rubbed his head.

"Ugh, I need to go to work soon as well."

Suddenly, noises came from downstairs—likely someone arguing.

"Augh, those shitty parents," he said, eyes flashing with annoyance at the thought of his step-parents. They'd adopted him purely to snatch away his inheritance, left behind by his real parents when they died.

But he couldn't leave yet, because he still needed their help to survive.

"Why do I even bother to stay here when I'm already twenty?" He shook his head, then turned back to his phone, looking for another novel to read.

It was his only hobby—hunting down good webnovels. But what he dreaded most was some shitty author dropping the novel he'd invested money in.

"Might as well ask for some recommendations," he thought, closing the reading app and opening Chatcord.

"Now let's see…" He opened a few servers, but most were dead, except a few idiots spamming memes.

"Fucking nerds, can't they at least talk online?" he muttered before finding a slightly active server.

[Chat, I need a novel recommendation, preferably high fantasy and harem.]

He waited a few seconds. Someone replied:

[Here comes another degenerate to read harem novels.]

The young man's eyes twitched. He typed at lightning speed:

[I may be a degenerate, but I'm a degenerate with class. I only read harem novels because I don't like when my favorite side character gets forgotten or ends up with someone else.]

A different person messaged:

[Haha, Brother Primus is correct, only cucks like you enjoy seeing your fav character with someone else.]

[Hah? Fuck you, I don't self-insert like the rest of you.]

[Huh? Motherfucker, stop lying. You think I don't know what kind of bl shit you read?]

The chat quickly descended into chaos, and the young man threw in messages here and there to add fuel to the fire.

After messing around for a bit, he got his recommendation and closed Chatcord.

"Well, at least I got two novels to read, Dimensional Keeper and Primordial Harem System. This should keep me busy for quite a few days."

Nodding in satisfaction, he topped up coins and sat down to read. But just as he did, the room began to tremble, and his furniture started shaking violently.

He sprang to his feet, only for the ceiling fan to drop on his head.

"Ugh—fuck," he groaned, collapsing to the floor. Still, he tried to stand up.

Out of nowhere, flames erupted around the room, the temperature shooting to an unbearable level in an instant.

His face turned gloomy as he realized he might actually die today. Right then, the door flung open and his step-dad's anxious voice echoed:

"What are you doing, dazing around? Hurry and run out!"

Through the heat haze, his eyes focused on the doorway. His vision cleared for a second.

'This bastard… is he still after my property?' he thought. In his will, he'd stated that if he died of any "unforeseen circumstance," everything would go to charity.

His lips were cracked from dryness, but he formed an ugly smirk.

"No thank you. I prefer to die giving you the middle finger," he said calmly, then raised his hand in a solid flip-off.

The middle-aged man's face went red, though it was hard to tell if it was from the heat or his anger.

"You useless bastard, you're the same as your dad—fucking useless." After cursing for a moment, he ran back downstairs.

The young man's eyes sharpened as he dashed toward the door. But before he could reach it, an explosion erupted. Everything went black.

***

In a boundless void floated a small wisp of flame—or rather, a soul. It trembled softly, as if any moment it could be snuffed out.

A colossal shadow grew beside this flickering soul, billions of trillions of times bigger.

[Hmm, now this is problematic. I can't revive this person back on that tiny planet. But I also can't bear to let him vanish due to my carelessness.]

The archaic voice reverberated across the void, making all the colossal beings lurking there scuttle away into their safe worlds, too afraid to face this unknown entity.

[Looks like I can only do that. And hmm… this might turn out more interesting.]

Slowly, the soul regained consciousness.

'Ughh…'

He was no longer in the void. Instead, he floated in a serene, giant expanse of greenery.

[CONGRATULATIONS, YOUNG MAN!]

'Ugh, talk normally. I already feel like dying,' the soul grumbled without thinking much.

[…You are already dead, though.]

"Huh? Wh—"

Memories of how he died suddenly flooded his weakened soul.

"Wait, who are you? And where are we?" Even though he couldn't physically see, he still felt the surroundings—a boundless expanse of greenery.

[I happened to pass by when you died and decided to help you,] the unknown entity said calmly, shaped like a human.

The young man's soul twisted and turned before returning to his original form.

"Huh?" He looked down, realizing his body was the same as before—no injuries at all.

He quickly raised his head. What he saw shocked him. In front of him stood a young man who looked exactly like him.

'Wait, he only looks like me… His eyes are different,' he noted, forcing himself to stay calm.

The entity raised an eyebrow.

[Oh? Quite sharp of you to notice that so quickly.]

Confused, the young man thought, 'Is this guy crazy?'

[No, I most certainly am not crazy.]

Hearing that, the young man's eyes filled with fear and apprehension.

'Fuck… can he read my mind??'

[Precisely,] the entity nodded.

'Shitshitshit. Think about something normal. Uhh... puppies. No—bananas? WHY BANANAS?!'

[Now that's just disturbing.]

"Who—no, what are you?" he asked once he'd calmed down—at least a little.

The unknown entity smiled faintly.

[I—am the harbinger of prosperity.]

'Bullshit,' the young man thought.

Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Every hero starts with power. He started with dust. One moment, the classroom buzzed with teenage chatter. The next, silence fell. Students blinked—and opened their eyes in an ancient hall carved from gold and marble. The air shimmered with divine magic. And at its center stood a goddess—flawless, proud, unbelievably beautiful and wrapped in flowing white. It was a divine summoning performed by a divine goddess. Among them was Vritra… and his stunningly beautiful mother. While others received blessings, powerful physiques and grand titles, Vritra was given a skill so pathetic it made even the goddess wrinkle her nose. An ability—so pitifully weak that it drew laughter, scorn, and even disgust. But that wasn't the worst part. Betrayed and cornered inside the labyrinth, Vritra had two choices: die… or fall into the death trap. A death canopy with no exit and no chance of survival, the only option was to slaughter the demons endlessly for months. Finally!! He forced his dormant skill to awaken, after killing thousands and hundreds of thousands demons and devouring them, becoming a broken ability. A dragon? A demon? What am I exactly? ****** White robes. Cold arrogance A sinful revenge. White robes can stain. And in the dark, even divinity can moan. And then there was his mo— guilt in her breath, shame in her eyes, whispering apologies between gasps in her son's ear, doing what had to be done… for both their sakes, giving birth to a morally wrong relation. ________________ Absolutely no NTR, none at all!!! Score- 6.5/10 Critical review: S in potential but D in character The first few chapters really pulled me in. It didn’t start with the same tired transmigration trope you see everywhere. Instead, we got a setup that actually felt fresh. The ten lucky draws at the beginning were a fun hook, and I thought it set the stage nicely for something great. Then came a fight scene where two individuals were fighting for the posession of the dragon egg, while not super important to the plot, still managed to make the world feel alive. It was refreshing to see that the world wasn’t just revolving around the MC. But after that, things started going downhill. The biggest issue I have is what I’d call the "Protagonist Aura"—the MC just has insane luck and doesn’t seem to earn anything. Stuff just... happens to work out for him. Take this example: right after finishing assimilating his inheritances, the mc just happens to run into the Helstorm family because they are following a prophecy. They turn out to be super influential, and they basically adopt him on the spot after one conversation. Really? Moments like that stack up, and you start to realize the MC never actually struggles. He doesn’t grow. He just gets handed power after power, and by the end of the first hundred chapters, it’s like he’s just collecting cheat codes. Nothing feels like it’s his. Then there’s the character development—or lack of it. Pretty much every side character the MC meets is immediately fond of him. Like the maids? They’re into him from day one. Sure, he’s nice and maybe easy on the eyes, but is that really enough for the level of affection they show? This keeps happening. Over the 100 chapters I read, most of the characters felt either flat or straight-up boring. They’re more like cutouts than actual people: the loyal servants, the doting grandparents, the flirty princess, the rival classmate—you know the type. They don’t grow, and their relationships with the MC are so one-sided it’s hard to care about any of them. For me, character development is what makes a story worth sticking with. But here? I just didn’t feel connected to anyone. Honestly, if the MC died in the next chapter, I wouldn’t care. Stick another guy in his place and the story would play out the same way. That’s how empty it all feels. In the end, it’s a book with a cool setup, but no real emotional weight. Just a bunch of forgettable characters going through the motions in a world that feels like it's on rails.
