Nowhere near any competive cards. I probably won't use cards that came out past like 2015. And if I do it'll be limited narratively. To give you an idea of the power level I'll work at, imagine using 3 2010-2020 structure decks to build your deck. good enough for a casual locals but nothing else

Strictly the real life timeline of progression is not going to be followed. Mainly because certain strong cards will be introduced wayyyy before they were made in rl, and some cards wont make a appearance until after they were made in rl. With most card effects will have their anime specific or real life effects. So for an example Card of Demise will have its anime effect rather than its real life one.

There will most likely not be a female lead. If there is a female lead it'll be only one and she'll be introduced much, much later. And when she's introduced I'll make it clear whether romance will be on the table.

Thanks! on a real note I've been needing some criticism, looking over my own work makes me feel a little sloppy. Not to spoil anything but the Amelia incident is a plot point to be addressed later. Anyway I've gotten pretty lazy with making this story especially compared to the other stories I'm working on, the breaks have been personal with legal trouble, deaths and sickness but I hear ya. First, Kage doesn't know at the moment but he's definitely suspious due to this Furret being way stronger than it should be. Second, I won't put in abilities that break the game, like a Defiant Torterra with shell smash and Curse wouldn't exist. Only abilities that make sense through the Pokedex or physical attributes. A Flygon can have ability like Tinted Lens because it just fits.
