tbh that wouldn't happen from what we saw with the mc personality,he will never do that as he loves the challenge they give him .

honestly they are playing a losing game from the start where the mc has all the odds in his favour. 1-they can't kill him due to their rules. 2-with each passing day he grows much stronger with each new ability,no idea what insane stuff he got during the time skip as that is still vague by the auther 3-he is insanely smart and doesn't play with they typical rules. 4-no effective way to counter his powers unless they develop a weapon that targets his genes. 5- since he got the ability to burn his blood or body parts ,targeting his power source or villains trying to clone him becomes virtually impossible unless he had a massive oversight for some reason. 6- they can't kill him 7-they don't understand his character at all , they can accidentally push him towards the edge if things went super south , and if he snapped he can be many times worse than batman who laughs. 8- it's many times harder for them to investigate the mc since they have to work in secret. 9- MC should be getting familiar with his new "emotions" and how to deal with them so less mistakes for him to make. 10-he doesn't work alone and has a secret empire that are faithful to him 11-worst case scenario they catch him and put him in prison just for him to walk out casually the next day since for whatever reason in DC they don't try to fix the root problem. 12- Did I mention that they can't kill him ? that's just one of the few things I can think of ,don't get be wrong Detective Chimp is insanely smart and arguably better than even batman in some areas but at the end of the day , smart+Insane power will beat smart any day of the week ,not to mention that the powers variables are at constant increase with each passing day,I believe the closest chance they will ever get was when batman disregarded the mc threat to low ,that will be their biggest mistake.

My suggestion is to make a small part of the chapters as a form of reaction after the mc death ,for example his teammates actually finding out he is the real "kai" after his death ,would be hilarious to see their regret after that lol ,it will add more depth to the world and the characters,no need to make many chapters of that just breif part of it .

Yeah this whole interaction was so bad that I was cringing the time by how nonchalant they are reacting ,like this is literally one of if not the best type of real skill (not counting extreme cheats like reality manipulation and such illogical cheats) for any familia or guild in any verse ,the countless possibilities you can achieve with it is unprecedented,like this can genuinely make it so clearing the dungeon is many times easier .

Not really,it's quite the opposite actually with sunny character ,sunny always distrust strangers and think the worst of them so it will be like yeah I expected you to do such a thing so he wouldn'tbe hung up about it like he did in the OG story ,but if he became friends with sunny then betrayed him like that then no amount of fixing will mend their relationship,forgiving betrayal from your closed ones is much harder than forgiving some random stranger that you had no idea about. “The deeper the love, the deeper the wound; strangers can hurt you, but only those you love can truly break you.”
