MC is trying to take control over the territory, so that he will cut off his father's support. ok so in original novel situation MC's father dies by the hand of emperor Alex and now if MC cuts his father 's support than MC father(David) won't be able to cause a rebellion. so MC's father would be alive. wouldn't his father immediately kill MC because he would know the reason that his son reduced his power/influence?
