These are some of the best chapters I have read, reminds me of Invincible Providence when MC in that novel lived his entire life as a Mortal, had a wife and even a child.
true man, we are due on some illustrations for quite a while. we did get Arastisia, Runark and Ria illustration but they seem like temporary placeholders for their real illustrations that will come later
Do y'all think an alien race might appear that uses magic? Magic in this universe would be the ability to influence reality through words/diagrams/calculation alone without brute force or technology. Authority of Alpha already proves "words" alone have power to influence reality. So a more sophisticated version of it might be able to influence the information realm.
I feel like Rui taught that technique to every transcended candidate.
"Bigger threats" don't just spawn out of nowhere, there needs to be a build up for it to occur. And obviously the arcs we are currently reading is exactly that build up
Lets say Rui comes back, wtf is there left for him to do? There's no fighting left to be seen since he's already Star system level or above in power, creatures of that magnitude that can rival him are yet to be seen. No world building is possible with him since he's omnicient and omnipotent for the most part. And no training arc since there's nothing at this point to challenge him.
I have this question, hemosapeions and evosapeions are always said to be strongest individually. Does it also include Gaints? I can't bring myself to believe a mentally stable gaint in 4th realm being weaker than a homosapeon of 4th realm. Before era of expansion they were clearly stated to have bottomless potential that were only held back by their madness. But still managed to be menace to the world while only being in 3rd realm. With it being stated so many times all pathwalkers have Neural inlays the 4th realm must have become common by now for them.
I dont think its cheap at all. It's simply advancement of civilization, those who remain stuck up in the old ways will be left behind. Just look at real life, A marine with 5 years of training and a semi-auto machine gun is easily destroying a small army of Spartans that had trained all their lives.
true this is essentially a sequel novel written in the same novel. Plus I was getting bored of Rui. Since his gene realm upgrade he became an 8 year olds OC who can do anything and everything making the fights lose all the tension. Him acting as a background overlord is much preferred
wtf was he supposed to do? If he told Swarmp the truth his rightous ass would immediately report to AOS because it's the "right thing to do". Also Kyle was more than welcome to die himself so he wouldn't have to betray Swamp in future, that's why he was entering battle with impossible odds to win like the lightning Whales.
