Hands down the best story I have ever read. From the amazing world building to the legends of ren zu. God I love everything about it. I have re-read the story three times as of today and I am planning on reading more.

pretty good although I think it could have been alot better if the author changed a couple of things. All of that said I wanted to thank the author for this great story I enjoyed reading it.

This is a superb novel that defies the cliches of predictable plots and lackluster protagonists who refuse to make sacrifices for their goals. Instead, it features a captivating evil main character with a clear goal. Although the pacing may be a tad sluggish at times, the world-building is exceptionally rich and detailed. Overall, a remarkable read that provides a fresh take on the fantasy genre.
