Damn, first school shooting I’ve read in a fanfic so props there
They barely had time to react before the windows exploded, shards of glass raining down as the Curse Marines fired indiscriminately into the school. The roar of bolter fire drowned out everything, the room shaking under the relentless onslaught. Each round of bone-shard bullets pierced through walls, embedding deep into desks, chairs, the very floor beneath them.
