What a farce, I've completely lost interest in this, I enjoyed it at first because it had an op mc tag, but recently he's been meeting strong people with connections from high stars and he's like some weak country bumpkin. He's still a Monarch Astral even with all the resources he has from the artifact and dense Astral energy.
I'm really trying to ignore it, but her continuously saying she will give her mind, body, and soul to Luffy is really unnerving for me since she is the mc in this case. If she gets all submissive and act like a slave in front of luffy, which I'm certain she will, then I will drop this. I really can't stand such mc's.
I was about to comment on that. Moreover, every monster in Jura forest see Veldora as their deity. For them to be resentful of serving him is ridiculous, let's not even talk about Benimaru acting defiant. True dragons are peak existences in Tensura and their authority is unquestionable, other than demon lords and few heroes, there's no way other life forms could act like this in front of a true dragon, unless they're stupid.
Still the same, those who are not close to him still don't know that it's him, meaning, (1) Rudra will antagonize him because he thinks that it's Veldanava that VOTW was talking about and not Rimuri, pointless drama, (2) Michael and Feldway will also do the same, another pointless drama, in fact not only them but all other demon lords who aren't aware of his presence and strength are more likely to do the same, causing another pointless drama. I still don't know what's the farce about him not revealing himself. But I can guess, just like all other novels with op mc's hiding their strength or identity, it's so that the author can get a chance to write unnecessary dramatic plot about people underestimating him and him putting them in their own place. Rimuru could've done this with Rudra when they met and put him in his own place when he was rude to him to set the record and unnecessary drama in the future, but of course the author didn't make him do that, otherwise how could you make cliché face slapping scene in the future.
Why make things complicated? His race class is a dragon overlord, that should be peak of the dragon class in the previous world, and what's a peak of a dragon race in Cardinal world? True Dragon, which means his dragon overlord class should've turned him into a true dragon.
For what reason is he hiding his magic? He just used 'float' and floated without using a broom and still the captains think he has no magic. You're making him hide his magic for no reason other than having to write unnecessary drama about people underestimating him and looking down on him. What will he gain by hiding his magic other than annoying discrimination? What sheer nonsense I can't even continue reading this.
This whole kingdom building sounds annoying to me, because I'm certain that on top of hiding his identity, he'll have to act weak now. A strongest being in existence hiding his identity and powers as if there's something anyone can do about it.
