To be fair, have you read the manga version of Rosario Vampire? There are a lot of characters in that show that are OP as well. Monsters are more ruthless and aren't afraid to kill, and while the humans rely on the help of their duel spirits, their still weak which makes them easy targets no the battle field. If you're not careful, you can die even with the help of a powerful monster

It was the next morning and Alexis had fallen asleep in the waiting room waiting for Mindy to come out of surgery. Jasmine came over to her with coffee in hand and gently nudged her awake. "Hey Alexis. The doctors told me we were good to go home. Mindy's out of surgery but she can't have any visitors right now." Alexis gave a delicate yawn and took the coffee, drinking it gingerly. "We'll just come back later to check on her after the Kaiba Corp. tour." In my story I said "as far as anyone knew" but of course they still had legends about the fabled half ghoul. Like a story you told your kids before bedtime. Ghouls are aware of the possibility of a half ghoul coming into existence, Kaneki was just the first his father or mother ever encountered. I hope this helps :)
Kenji smiled happy down as he held his son in his arms and allowed the small child to grasp at his finger with a strong grip that was normal for a ghoul infant to have. He was overjoyed that their son was seemingly healthy and couldn't stop himself from allowing a tear to roll down his cheek from sheer joy.
