It probably reverted back to a smaller size. Earlier when he started fighting, he was forced to grow to his original massive 6ft human size but i guess losing his core reverted him to massive eagle size again

I believe there was a wrong translation. It's supposed to be monster, not demon

Also, I've noticed with almost every single Chinese translation novel I've read (close to 100) there will always be a case of tens, thousands, millions and billions being wrongly translated. One chapter it's all millions and then several chapters later it's suddenly thousands....

Someone can be smart but still lack common sense, street smarts and interpersonal intelligence. For a slightly over the top example...Genius level autistic people. Super smart with certain subjects and areas but obviously useless in others.

Chinese chess to him but regular chess to everyone else. It's like going to the meat department and asking for Spanish salami but if you were in Spain, you would just ask for salami.
