I would avoid this author like a plague. Money hungry to the point of locking chapters behind pay walls. Read a MHA(My Hero Academia) fan fic of his and around chapter 20 out of 100+ he locked all further chapters to force people onto his patrion. In the less extreme cases hell lock any r18 chapters he writes in hopes of luring people with paragraph smut to his patreon. He talks bad about other content creators but gives us poorly written work or steals content to repackage as his own. fk this guy. I get making a profit where you can but stealing content from others while blatantly selling it and insulting others is a no for me. the moment i realized what kind of piece of shit this guy was i immediately deleted the books of his i was saving in a backlog from my favorites as he doesn't deserve our money or any audience what so ever

I would agree with you but real world history is a different story. When establishing a new empire or taking control of one you had to eliminate threats at the roots. If you kill the parents of a monarch and spare the child, many political factions not content with your rule can use the child to start a revolution with the goal of using that child to replace you. That child would be used as a figure head for the nobles to rule from the shadows. As much as I agree that the child be free of his parents sins you can't deny the eventual threat he would present if given the means of revenge. Batman himself is a prime example of this.
