True but he has little to no interest in blood magic which gives the author a way to keep her relevant. Plus if the author wants to they can use her knowledge as a way to give Harry a 'Shortcut' to blood/curse magic using legilimancy or something along those lines in a 'critical moment.'

The characters don't feel real enough and the interactions seem a little forced. With the MC being too timid and the thought process seeming to jump around I don't think I can continue
