This story brings an interesting perspective to something I've experienced multiple times before; open world gatchas. I'm truly able to immerse myself into the story and relate it back to all of my previous experiences, while also seeing a new side of things.Though, unlike some gatchas, this one does not fall flat. Each new chapter brings something new to the table and I'm excited to see where this open world adventure leads Marcus and his companion.

Does this mean the King's Dominion skill is on cd for the next 12 hours now? Hopefully they don't end up needing it..

I have an idea! A cool ability you could use would be like earth bending or being like Raven from Teen Titans! Or maybe like a camelion, where when they walk instead of just changing colors, they can adapt to the environment and maybe pick up pieces of their surroundings and use them? So like, walking on sand makes their legs turn to structured sand, which they can then use in whatever way. Or touching trees can turn their arms to bark and then they can generate wood? I dunno, you'll probably think of some other way to use that, but PS. I truly enjoy your stories!
