currently at Ch. 661/661. gotta say I love this novel and love to see how the author grows as a writer as much as the character does. there were some roughs spots and I take breaks away from it frequently to come back and binge due to me being impatient but it's a great read.

I also went through that slump but the novel has picked up again and gotten way more interesting. I think maybe you got stuck in a grinding arc that was setting up later development.

I think the damage numbers are closer to sharpness than to actual damage. those 2-3 damage knives when stuck in your eye will kill you easily. but when stabbing through sheet metal for example something with 20 damage might have an easier time piercing the metal. just an idea.
