No, you can read and form your own opinion, but from what I remember he stays a doormat for all of the female characters. Ein does try to salvage the situation by having a chapter explaining her thoughts and actions, but it was too late and seemed out of character for her. That's an extremely biased opinion from me though, since I heavily dislike this story and pretty much every character in it.

I mean, I guess? But most people have the decency to use personalities from the source material and change them as they interact with the protagonist, or by having them not experience certain events, and not completely destroy the og characters. This author wrote this with t#xic fanon clouding their thought process, and it oozes through their writing lmao. The MC cries because Rias "f#rced" him into a contract, and didn't just save him out of the goodness of her heart. The author paints Riser as a good dude that is just misunderstood or whatever, and it most likely comes from their massive hate for anything Rias. Writing your own version of things is fine, but when you let your overwhelming hate of a character seep into your story, it becomes a problem. Later chapters may have gotten better in this aspect, but anyone with any love for the source material will find it extremely hard to get that far.

Nothing in my review was wrong though lmao. It is a Rias bashing fanfic, and I was just w@#ning the people that actually enjoy the source material to stay away. Don't throw a tantrum just because I don't enjoy things that tr#sh the very story and characters they are basing the fanfic around.

You haven't read the LN then. She didn't know he was being targeted, the flier part was explained as their meeting of fate. She knew about the fallen angels but didn't know what they were there for. She didn't even know he had a sacred gear, only that something must be special about him because of the fallen angels targeting him. The anime made all of this look intentional on her part, but it was all shown and explained as coincidence/fate in the LN, so did you truly read it?

Typical Rias bashing fic from someone who probably hasn't read the LN. MC whines to Riser about Rias not saving him and instead made him join her peerage, but doesn't understand that she is a Devil and has no reason to do something that wouldn't benefit her. Author constantly throws hate at Rias anytime she is in the chapter and is basing everything around fanon. So my advice for anyone that has read the LN is to stay away, people that have only watched the anime and read fanfics probably won't have a problem reading this though. I really wanted to give this a 1 star, but I don't think you deserve it. Maybe leave your bias out of your next work though.
