Someone has reached their enlightenment
After 20 chapters, I think it's enough time for a review, so here we go: The plot development is very simple, nothing very original or impressive, it basically follows the events of the original, where the MC serves to orbit Bell's adventure rather than having his own (remember the promise of not being cliché, so that's not helping). The MC's evolution is basically following Bell's, that is, it will be at a fast pace (which ruins most Danmachi fanfics). Liaris Freese has this effect on those who write fanfics, but if that's the problem, just eliminate Bell so that you have the freedom to write the story comfortably. The interaction between the characters was very shallow, which may not sustain the story. Otherwise, the only thing missing was a deeper look into the original material (the gold of Danmachi is in the material that wasn't adapted for anime, like the short stories, side novels and game events). It may hurt to hear, but it's a mediocre story in several aspects.
16 years old... come on, he's past the age of naming attacks, he's not a pokemon
"Nah, I'd win"
I prefer the idea that Turtle is The Writer DC (an entity that is the personification of the DC author, but theoretically would be another aspect of The Presence/The Source) of his story rather than the assumption that he is a simple psychic. There is no harm in accepting that there is a truly omnipotent entity in the story (even if it hurts the Asuras' ego)
