So I kind of hate "enemies turn to ally " tag in novels because you can't just paint a red target on someone, then all of a sudden due to some flashbacks, back story, plot twist or some mysterious revelations they become friends and then you expect the readers to chill. First game had some red arrow girl who god know how many times she wanted to kill the mc, but what did he do? He let her go scot free for absolutely no reason. I let it off cuz the author claimed shes the female lead. Second game had another crazy girl who wanted to kill the mc multiple times too, but for me to only witness her disappear too? Now that was frustrating . If low level players could just use some life card to bail out of difficult situations, then I feel like restrictions mean nothing in the game. Now to the mc, if he had resigned from his job quietly, there would be no need for the assassination of his sister. But the mc just had to open his stupid mouth, insult the boss and punch him in the face for a comment that had no mental, physical or infact spiritual effect on his sister. Here was the bosses comment. "Take your payment for today? Who what to pay a rascal like you? now get out of here and go die with that pathetic sister of yours!" Yh, I'd be pissed if someone said that to my sister( if I had one ). But teaching the guy a lesson after leaving the workplace would have held no consequences. So much for someone had died once.
I was really in to this novel, like canceling my schedule for the day just to read this novel because of the op mc, cool personality, doest play by the rules, doesn't act cowardly in front of people stronger than him, solo mc, not the overly humble mc, "really plans before acting", etc. But all of a sudden bro got an unfair deal where he has to enter some one man rift and fight some monster who has already killed seven people stronger than him. He accepts the deal cuz he stands to benefit personally from it though he had some resentment attached. Now after experiencing a near death situation, what does he do? He breaks in to a party full of level 500, 900 and even a level 1000 ( bro was level 32 at that time ) beats some kids and even called the fucker who nearly f*cked his life "father in law", then Leaves like he had accomplished something. It was very frustrating to see someone who carefully thinks of every step he takes act recklessly without getting any benefit rather painting a f*cking red dot on his back making more enemies. First 100 chapters was a friggin 5 stars for me but just continued deteriorating as the chapters pile up I really liked the mc, but that stunt he pulled ( plot armor) was just the final straw that broke the camels back. Well, I've dropped the novel but good job to the author for making my day enjoyable .
So there's this feeling of control I like to see main characters. but here the MC has bluff his way out of all situations. I've not seen the so called system give any proper reward to increase his strength. The little power he has are all from external source. While I'm seeing some mysteries about his origins appearing once a while, they don't really add any boost to his strength in the beginning. . that option about is life path was just a hoax. It's like all his choice that affect his life are bound by the system, it's either he chooses one of the four or die Anyways this review is just subjective and a thumbs up to the author for his creativity and good writing quality
So your parents and sibling are ostracized by the whole family, then you power up and become the strongest in the family, what do you do. Well, our mc chose to keep quiet and continue being looked down upon. He never even had a thought about moving out of the family. Now after a series of blatant discrimination on the MC's father, the MC's father had the balls to move out but didn't have enough funds. And minds you , the mc was an alchemist and had a lot money at that time. But what did he do? He watched his family sell their heirloom to get a cheap house in the city for them to stay in . The part that made me drop this novel was when he defeated his cousin and that guy from The Divine sword academy or whatever, asked him to release his Martial soul. I liked that the mc declined. But after the urging of his father, bro showed it again to people who have repeatedly look down on him. If he had shown his power to his father long ago they only be a need for all this cliché shit. This is trash at it's peak.
I stopped at the chapter where his fiance claim to know about him copying the princess's ring. Like it just doesn't make sense. From the onset, I started getting this vibe about the mc being a yes man when the system missioned him to raise her favour ability . I was irked when the mc harboured no resentment for the attempt to claim his life by her, like man, grow some balls
Why has this got to be the nany type mc.its very sickening. I thought we got someone who give 2 f*ck about the plot when he decisively left his father's mansion but, oh boy, guess I was wrong. I won't lie, it was the synopsis that attracted me to this novel, especially, the part about the game's mc forming a harem in his face, But last I heard, bro has become a matchmaker for the game's mc. Very disappointing
I felt like the author took her away to make more room for other women. Honestly, that ice mage's bitchy attitude just kills me off
While I won't deny the fact that the story is well written, I just can't continue reading it. Juxtaposing this novel with MBS, the only difference would be when he went to the academy. Tbh, I hate it when the academy arc comes, like a whole lot cliche happen there. Anyways, when can I get a loner mc(pls not a half baked one)
This one is toxic af . "clings to" my ass. Should be more of "chokes"
#cowardly mc#perverted#heavy nationalism This might be subjective, but I started getting red flags when he had the thought of saving the people (some government department)who tried to kill the black fish in the lake, then later on he broke the code(never tell anyone you have reincarnated or transmigrated). The deal breaker for me was him becoming another dog for the government .
