Hi friends, I like reading novels, specifically western fantasy stuff.

I thought you said the baby is weak and dehydrated. The lessons should come later when he is feeling well.
all those exclamation marks 🤣
At chapter 40 This is one of the top tiers book. The world building is unique. It also feels refreshing to see a pirate MC. The characters are memorable because of their distinct personalities. The writing is flawless. Although a few paragraphs are in the form of translated Chinese novels, it is not overdone and not cringy at all. There are no boring chapters as of now. Almost all the chapters are so well done that it makes me want to keep on reading more. Definitely worth your time so give this a try.
she got drugged and can't move gosh. what are you expecting? to magically get up and run for her life?
tf if you think she's lucky then why don't you do it yourself
At chapter 49 Weird sentence structures, some bad grammar here and there, limited word usage (repeated use of wryly, smirk, etc.) It has the potential to become a good book. Some parts are boring but the plot is good enough for me to keep reading to pass time. But I don't think I'm gonna read past the locked chapters because I don't think it's that great. overall : just so-so, not too bad but also not that great, if you can't find anything to read for the time being then this book is good for you. Mybe it'll turn out to be one of your favourites, who knows.
I guess he likes to smirk a lot lol
yeah I'm thinking the same, unless he lost his memory or something, that'll explain why he's so relaxed, or maybe because of his low intelligence.
From what I've read, those MC who trained since they were in the womb or at the age of 2 were pretty much prodigy, they have systems that helped them in their training. Even if they don't have one, they have new knowledge from another world that can be incorporated in the mana or physical training in the world they were currently in. They also think for things themselves too, for concepts of mana training, new combined martial arts etc. since they have no one to learn from. But it'll be hard for the MC in this book since he only acquired the system at a later age than the MCs you were talking. He also didn't have new knowledge for both magic and swordsmanship (in his early years). Even in other books, the academy usually starts at 10-12 years old (that is, with a prodigy mc who can use mana since birth or swordsmanship since they were able to walk). So it's not really wrong to say the standards are really high in this novel.
Totally agree with you. Also, I find it really weird that he fights while crawling like a dragon. Like come on, it's not that hard to fight while standing, you have a perfect human body simply made for ease of walking! (unless the author revealed that the people in this world does things much better while crawling due to certain reasons, except for the fact that he 'used to be' a dragon) It'll be even faster than crawling and fighting. But this book completely reverses the logic. I have only read a couple of chapters but it'll be hard for me to continue this.
