some people are just bad at genuine conversation
The conversations in the first chapters are all nonverbal. I kinda didn't bother with quotation marks 'cause I used italics instead. Was kinda peeved when I posted the chapters on the site and realised there're no font options. I'll add the '---' one day, or maybe webnovel will change its site to show italics. Don't know which will come first but I'm guessing probably the former.
You've got a point, I'm not gonna deny that. Kaylee does make a lot of bad decisions, but Sage doesn't really care about as long as none affect her. That's why after the whole drunk Kaylee ordeal she immediately decided to separate from the half-elf. Nervahn was to be the last place they go together before they before went their separate ways. Then this whole necromancer thing happened. I imagine she's only gonna want to leave Kaylee behind even faster. Unfortunately she can not do so at the moment without Kaylee getting suspicious. As for finding another person to contract her, she hasn't though about it. After Kaylee stopped her perhaps she will, although the idea of actively seeking someone to take over the bond is such would be such a pain that she'll delay it indefinitely. I don't know if I've shown it well, but Sage hates people. She doesn't interact with them more than she has to. Of course she can act kind and accommodating for a while but the idea of something as long term as raising someone, even if it's for her own benefit, would be a disaster.
Lol. Such a development never even crossed my mind. Wish it had.
thanks
Male. that's why I say 'he' when I use his name. I use 'it' when in the sentences where he is referred as a cat. Never was used 'she' when referring to Nyx... I think.
That is possible, but gods of Aran are known to respond to prayers on occasion. A completely silent god could never gain a huge following, even if he was still alive. Therefore, if there are followers who believe the God of Death is still alive they would be very few.
The mere fact that necromancy involves raising the dead is already enough to cause unease among the general public, even if there is no ill intent behind it. Taking the skeleton as an example: even if you can't recognise it, it was still created from someone's body. What's to say the next one won't be raised from the corpse of your dead relative?
