I'm not. Thanks for the input, I enjoy reviews like this one. Though, Sage's cussing is a way to express herself in the only way she allows herself to, through anger. The reason... its a long story.
A requirement for learning blood magic is having blood. Hers is more poison than blood.
some people are just bad at genuine conversation
She knows nothing about Soul Transfer. Even if she did, the vessel she chooses would be a more common undead. The only reason she was able to become a phantom was due to interference by her reincarnator.
Lol. She'll be back... one day.
The conversations in the first chapters are all nonverbal. I kinda didn't bother with quotation marks 'cause I used italics instead. Was kinda peeved when I posted the chapters on the site and realised there're no font options. I'll add the '---' one day, or maybe webnovel will change its site to show italics. Don't know which will come first but I'm guessing probably the former.
You've got a point, I'm not gonna deny that. Kaylee does make a lot of bad decisions, but Sage doesn't really care about as long as none affect her. That's why after the whole drunk Kaylee ordeal she immediately decided to separate from the half-elf. Nervahn was to be the last place they go together before they before went their separate ways. Then this whole necromancer thing happened. I imagine she's only gonna want to leave Kaylee behind even faster. Unfortunately she can not do so at the moment without Kaylee getting suspicious. As for finding another person to contract her, she hasn't though about it. After Kaylee stopped her perhaps she will, although the idea of actively seeking someone to take over the bond is such would be such a pain that she'll delay it indefinitely. I don't know if I've shown it well, but Sage hates people. She doesn't interact with them more than she has to. Of course she can act kind and accommodating for a while but the idea of something as long term as raising someone, even if it's for her own benefit, would be a disaster.
I have no comment about Kaylee, but starting a cult especially a necromancer cult, would not escape the notice of the aristocracy and church. The zealots would destroy it before it can take root. So she would rather not risk it.
In due time
Lol. Such a development never even crossed my mind. Wish it had.
