You are correct that there are not a lot of writing mistake if you forget about the fact that its all messed up. Its like reading a book from someone who just finished their middleschool english class and decided to write a book and they dont know a lot of english words. I have read mtl and even for me this is pushing it.

I dont know why the author can remember to write a page of skills and then only think of using One for the entire fight
