Author, the whole premise of the mistimed system is pretty funny, but, like in this paragraph, you keep making it use future tense instead of past or present, breaking the illusion
I enjoy the novel and would recommend it as well, though it still has some flaws, but I disn’t want to go into those on this occasion. Instead, author, if you read this review, I need to go on a little rant. Please, PLEASE, for the love of god, stop using millisecond every few sentences. Using instant, moment, fraction of a second or similar terms would work much better, as they do not represent a defined unit of time. After all using millisecond even introduces inconsistencies with what you have written. The best reaction time for athletes is around 150 ms, and that is the time between a phenomenon is percieved and when a reaction STARTS, not is completed. You mentioned at some point in the story that the MC had a 4x better reaction time than before, which means roughly 37 ms. So he would not at all be able to even percieve, let alone react, to anything happening within 1 ms. Undefined measures of time like those above would therefore fit much better. Also he is only at level 15, with wide gaps in stenght between stages. If he can react now to 1 ms, what would the reaction time have to be at level 90? A billionth of a second? Don’t know if I’m the only one irked by this, but I wanted to get it off my chest. Outside of that, as a suggestion, have you considered introucing sealing (through sealing or some kind of time magic) for criminal players, to essentially block their accounts, as they wouldn’t even be able to commit suicide to free themselves? I just thought it could add some more depth to the plot, as it would also be a nice way for natives to retaliate against players and could lead to some interesting developments. Keep up the good work!
Mmmhh, author, you took a “little” ispiration from Release that Witch for the last 4 chapters, haven’t you? 😜 One thing you mentioned all the way back in the Wildlands, about purifying Berserk meat possibly allowing one to quicky accumulate influence, shouldn’t it have been the first priority in the MC’s new domain? He could have done it secretly and only to satisfy the needs of his citizens and would have solved the food problem without attracting attention.
Yes, of course it makes sense he is stronger than any of his beasts, but at this point he is basically held back by them. Can’t even use them in fights other than against weak opponents because they are too weak.
Thanks for the chapter. The arc was nice, but now that it is over, I hope you spend some time strengthening Leo’s beasts. It does feel somewhat strange for the beasts of a beast tamer novel to be much weaker than the tamer. Especially my poor boy Howl, hope he finally evolves his Bloodline.
See this! I just gifted the story: Inspiration capsule
Sad to see this novel ending so ubruptly. I really liked it and I looked forward to new chapters every day.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this novel. As of chapter 140, the plot pacing is excellent, with a good alternation between well-written fight scenes, wholesome moments between the main characters and “relaxation” in the outside world, never spending too much or too little time on each. Character design for now has been done well, feeling real and not like insane portrayals of some clichéd characteristic. Not so much has been disclosed about world building yet (especially for the game world), but it seems promising at least. Writing quality has been excellent as well. If I had to nitpick, the only issue I have with the novel is that it makes no sense for the ultra-rich portrayed in the novel to attend the same university as the super poor on a completely polluted planet, when some of them are literally owners of paradise-like planets. I understand that it is necessary for the main characters to have some real-life connection, but I feel like it could have been done a little differently. That aside, I highly recommend this novel to anyone who is looking for a fresh story and I hope the author keeps up the good work.
Author, Fade was fighting the gray-robed man as well. Also, as one of the other users commented as well, I think everybody would agree an already edited chapter published later is better than a non-edited chapter released on time. If you take it a bit easier it would likely be better for you as well :) Thanks for the chapter
A novel not overly-complicated but well-written, with a good pacing, making it a fun and entertaining read. It is not revolutionary in any way, but all the elements of the novel fit together well. Recommended if you are looking for something outside the power/harem fantasies always so common on this platform.
