You're right I didn't think of that, it could be the goblins or a modified goblin ward that acts like a fidelus charm to protect ancestral homes? maybe if that makes sense.

I mean true but my train of thought was that his father used to live in the manor, and a castle would be away too big for just 1 person, a manor is already pretty big.

erm, to be honest, I am not sure, fleur is right now my main candidate but the problem is this is my first ever fanfiction, and while I do like romance I don't really know how to write romance well if you know what I mean. I don't think I will make this into a harem ever, maybe a maximum 1 other women cause he is a lord of 2 houses and all so it makes sense I guess but not sure just yet
