noel_streef1mthPostedThought I'd write after reading the full book to do an actual review. Starting off with the intro. It was a great way to do simple world building and introduce the main characters. I liked how there was a moment with the brother in it too, it just adds some character to it. In the beginning, before the siege, I thought it was going to be a happy story (I have read MKF so I knew I was going to be wrong) but it had a fast and dark turn that I actually liked a lot. It definitely was better than some silly happy ending (I don't like how most stories these days are about fun times and the hero always winning etc, even though the heroes did win). The arc when all six of them were training set a happy tone and a friendly environment. I loved the interactions between the characters. The only strange part was with Kent and the book, which was referenced in MKF with Lavernius. When I first saw this I thought that he was telling this tale at first, I was like "Oh that's cool", but it could also just be a little easter egg. It also gave them 'powers' which was kinda cool, so it's like it is connected but also isn't. The shift in the story doesn't begin until Rowan is at Fort Zeke. I absolutely loved his time there. His bunk mates and the other captains were amazing. Loved Tyler, Athena, and Nate. Really wish we got more interactions between them. The Black Company was a cool and interesting way to have Rowan bond with Athena. I loved Jack I thought he was a cool villain, obviously not fully developed and just for an arc. All we knew was that he was hired from another nation. The final arc, where the invasion happens, was super intense. Those chapters were super depressing and amazing. The back story of Roman Salazar was surprisingly sad. I felt bad about the whole thing but I also hate him for what he did. Doing a first person point of view is great, but there is also the loss of many things too. If it was a third point, I feel like it would have been longer and had a lot of more things. Regardless it was an amazing story and I loved reading it. It is worth a read for sure.

That's what I was thinking, but the church fell, idk how old he was or if he was even born, but he probably grew up without being taught about gods and demi-gods. So its fair to assume that he doesn't know. And they weren't common. We only knew of one, from what I can remember.

The first spicy scene, and its with siblings... interesting lol
He gave her a sly smile. Ragar and Eriessa walked back to their chambers after the ceremony. Ragar grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his private chambers. Her cat-like ears bent down as he slowly took off her dress. She bit her lip as he gently touched her beautiful body. He quickly took off his shirt and pants and pushed her onto the bed. She lightly moaned as he kissed and licked her in various areas. She embraced him and pulled him closer. She ran her hands up and down his back. He let out a small grunt as he pushed inside of her. She moaned softly and lightly dug her fingernails into his back. Eriessa clawed up and down as he moved faster. His movements got rougher as she continued to make lustful noises. She wrapped her legs around his hips and pulled him in close. She arched her back and sweat covered them both. Ragar leaned back in and held himself above her as he rocked back and forth. A few minutes later, they stopped and collapsed next to each other on the bed. They cuddled up next to each other and rested under the sheets. - noel_streef1yrCommented

Ash hugs both of them before packing and hitching a ride back to the Empire of Dython. The two adventurers watch him leave. Ash waves goodbye to them, then disappears into the distance. The sun rises high in the sky, casting a warm glow across the land. - noel_streef1yrCommented

Hazel and Ash walk around the place, looking at various books and potions. Ash looked over to the other adventurer that was there. He was shorter than Ash and wore all black. He had light leather armor and no sword on his side. In fact he had no waist holster. He made eye contact with the man. The man had a scar on his face over his eye. He had two different eye colors. What a wonderful story you have here. I love the plot and all the twists and turns and all the different connections. The characters work so well together and I love the different atmosphere's you have with the different points in the story. The fight scenes are definitely my favorite because I love the way they struggle to win and sometimes the odds are against them and then they will be saved. It is a shame when a character dies but I think it is reasonable for the story so that it can progress. I do wish that we can see more background. I've noticed things that you talked about but didn't cover in detail. Maybe I'm just jumping the gun a bit. You always close the loop holes in the story and make it comprehensible for the readers. You also have very interesting characters and power scales. I can't wait til those develop deeper for the story.
