I just use it to improve my grammar. Is it really that much irritating?

Oh! First of all best of luck to you in your preparation. It is a hard exam to crack but I hope you can achieve it. And about why I used that word is because when I searched about syllabus regarding CAT exam, the google suggested me that topic and it is the only reason behind its use. I would have asked my brother who cleared that exam before using it but I didn't tell anyone in my family that I am writing a novel. So better work alone and do some mistakse. Because mistakes teaches us more than any other thing.

Yeah what you are saying is may be correct but think if he didn't follow them into the lane through he can settle the matter with words which is obviously they extort them. Instead he tries to run away from them, if by bad luck they followed him till his home, then they can harass him or bully him whenever they want. Yeah he can file a police complaint for his security but what if it didn't help. Instead if he followed him in the lane, and gave the money they want without getting any harm, he still have a chance to file a police complaint. Here the thugs used their strength to scare him, before extorting. Yeah it is stupidity that he is following their orders but he is thinking of his safety too. And the reason he followed them is not because he can depend on his AI. It was the situation which made him use AI. Or may be I am stupid to narrate story like that.

May be as you said, it doesn't appear in theoretical exams but we have to keep knowledge of it, isn't it? To ultimately clear CAT exam.

Or a great coward who don't want to push himself in more dangerous situation.

Correct logic, I had forgotten to add that he recieved another phone from his parents, after real ising it I thought that na, it won't be necessary. But after this comment I am regretting it. The final conculusion, is it's his another phone.
