Ch5: New Journey

Arjun had always been a bright student, but it was AI that propelled him to new heights.

Using this powerful tool, he had aced his CAT exams with a score that had left his peers in awe. His preparation was not conventional; it was a blend of traditional study methods and the power of AI.

With AI's help, he had mastered vast topics, practiced complex problems, and had even honed his interview skills, all with an ease that had seemed unimaginable just a few years ago.

One fine day, Arjun, brimming with excitement, was on his way to a local store.

The reason behind his excitement was his impending journey to an esteemed institution, a journey made possible by his recent successes.

As he strolled along the footpath, a voice beckoned him, calling out, "Hey there, little guy! Could you come here?"

Arjun felt a bit confused, unable to pinpoint the origin of the voice as he was lost in his own thoughts, scanning his surroundings. Then, the voice guided him once more, saying, "To your right, buddy."

When Arjun noticed the person, he grew suspicious. Without saying anything, he started walking faster. But the person kept following, urging Arjun to stop. Seeing this, Arjun walked even faster to get away from the person.

As Arjun was walking quickly, he noticed two other individuals were waiting ahead.

Sensing the tension, Arjun came to a halt, prompting the person behind him to stop as well.

"Let's not escalate things," the person said calmly. "Just listen to what I have to say."

With that, he invited Arjun to follow him into a nearby narrow lane.

As Arjun entered the narrow lane, he was taken aback by a surprise that caught him off guard.

Suddenly, the other two individuals grabbed him from behind and pinned him against the wall.

Startled, Arjun exclaimed, "What are you doing? I'll call the police! Let me go now before things get any worse!"

Hearing this, the man in front retorted, "How do you plan to call the police? If we break both your hands, ha! So, before things escalate further, why don't you hand over the money you have in your pocket?"

Upon hearing this, Arjun replied, "I don't have any money with me."

The man then snatched the grocery bag from Arjun's hand and demanded, "Then how did you buy these things, huh?"

Arjun replied with frustration, "I made an online payment, okay? Just let me go!"

"Is it?" the guy replied sarcastically, then continued, "Okay, then send us 5000 cash immediately to my account."

Arjun retorted, "How can I send you anything if you're holding me like this?"

Hearing this, the guy instructed the two men holding Arjun to release him.

As they released Arjun, he immediately asked AI,

Arjun: Can you assist me in resolving this situation?

AI: I can help, but I require your permission to take control of your body.

Arjun: Ok granted.

AI: I have accessed your nervous system. Now, I am assuming full control of your body.

Done.

As Arjun heard the final word "Done" from the AI, his body immediately sprang into action.

He attacked one of the guys by thrusting him with both hands, causing him to stagger back. Seeing this, the other guy raised his fist to retaliate against Arjun. Swiftly, Arjun dodged the attack and thrust him away as well.

He then made a dash to escape from them. Seeing that those three guys following him.

Arjun sprinted with all his might. He didn't know where he was going as his body was under the full control of the AI.

As the chase persisted, Arjun raced towards a police officer for refuge. Witnessing the officer, the other three individuals hesitated and withdrew.

With a swift understanding of the unfolding scenario, the officer intervened and chased away the three individuals.

Then, with genuine concern, the officer approached Arjun and inquired, "Are you okay? Have they caused you any harm?"

Arjun, still catching his breath, struggled to speak as he heavily gasped for air. With gratitude in his voice, he managed to express, "I'm alright. Thank you, officer, for your assistance in this situation."

AI: Task completed.

Observing Arjun's condition, the officer asked, "Do you need any help getting home?"

Arjun gratefully responded, "Thank you for your consideration, sir. I'll book a cab since my house is a bit far from here."

The officer nodded understandingly and reassured, "Alright then. Don't worry about those thugs. We'll take swift action against them. They've been causing trouble in the area for too long."

The officer stayed with Arjun until the cab arrived, bidding him farewell with a simple "Take care."

Arjun expressed his gratitude once more, saying, "Thank you again, sir," before stepping into the cab.

As he settled in, he instructed the cab driver to increase the air conditioning by a bit.

Concerned by Arjun's palpitations, the cab driver asked, "What happened, sir? Why are you so worked up?"

Arjun proceeded to explain the situation to him.

Listening intently, the cab driver remarked, "Oh my! You're quite lucky, sir. You managed to escape their grasp. That area is becoming more dangerous day by day. I heard they recently broke into someone's house there in broad daylight. You should steer clear of that area for a while."

As Arjun tried to catch his breath, he started conversation with the AI.

Arjun: What led you to choose running away from them instead of confronting the situation head-on?

AI: Just observe your current physical state. If I had fought them, you would have sustained serious injuries, and your small fists wouldn't have been effective against them. This was the best solution available in that situation.

Arjun: Is my body really that weak?

AI: Yes, it would be beneficial for you to start exercising regularly. If you're interested, I can help you establish a routine.

Arjun: Alright, let's establish a routine that integrates both study and fitness activities.

AI: Crafting the routine.

Done.

Arjun realized that he needed to enhance his abilities to avoid similar situations in the future. He contemplated the idea of acquiring some self-defense skills.

After a few days, Arjun took his final exam as planned with AI. To his satisfaction, he achieved the exact marks he had envisioned, securing a remarkable 98.57 percentile, guaranteeing him a seat at his desired college, IIM Ahmedabad.

Following this success, he appeared in the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) at IIM Ahmedabad, successfully clearing each stage.

With the invaluable assistance of AI, Arjun turned his once perceived impossible dream into a reality. Eager and enthusiastic, he looked forward to embarking on his new journey at his dream college.
