One of my favorites on the site, its writing quality isn't too far from a professionally published book (which is a rarity on this site), and the book's overall quality (plot/characters/world building/etc.) is pretty damn good. I'm glad MLB seems to be sticking to this novel, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to give it a try
TLDR: Good Book, Bad Writing Quality The novel has an interesting story that mixes in some good mystery behind the MC's backstory. The characters in general tend to be semi-generic, but likable, and the side characters never really pissed me off for doing an obviously stupid action (like most power fantasy novels tend to do so the MC looks better). Worldbuilding also doesn't drown out chapters, but there's still enough for it to be decent and somewhat unique. Pacing also doesn't seem to be too fast or too slow. It definitely scratches my itch for OP novels, but Jesus the writing quality is god-awful. Between the numerous grammar and spelling errors in every chapter, along with horribly cringe internal and external dialogue, it's hard for me to give this novel more than three stars. It sucks too, because the novel really has potential and did genuinely grab me. I hope the author can hire an editor or at least proofread the novel more to improve it. Thanks for the work anyhow Nickaido!
