its been a while since ive read this book, but from how i remember it (admittedly not well), he had a max number, or each summon has an upkeep cost or something. i do remember there being a downside apart from the initial cost. Even if it was just a mana cost, none of the people are real, doesnt make sense to waste MP. sure be kind, but there is a difference between being kind and wasting limited resources that you will need later.

because there is a limit on his summons. i understand if it costs him nothing, but its making him weaker in reality to help someone who doesnt even exist. Thats like saying "Why are you so cruel" for not wanting to buy Hatsune Miku a pet. She doesnt exist in reality, so its different.

Harem? Not listed in tags or bonus tags, so I'm hopeful it's not, but I wanted to check.

Author, I try to not review stories too early so i can be fair to them and see how they hold up. With that being said, I did want to let you know this is the most enjoyable story I have read in a LONG time on this platform, and I hope it continues to be at this level. The pacing is absolutely impeccable, and the characters are all fleshed out and actually believable as "People". Furthermore, you are absolutely knocking it out of the park with the political side and the differences in how things work with women leading society, and all of it in a non-harem book? With MECHAS?!?! Are you kidding me? Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming.

as long as this isnt a harem book, this is the most interested ive been in a book premise in a while, this is really interesting.
