I love writing stories as much as I do love reading them.

another close one, but once again nah!
I knew some people were going to read too much into that😂😂
well in the current timeline, the current king is viserys, so this story takes place during the entire dance of the dragons event
shh... stop reading my future drafts, but in all honesty, minor spoiler ahead no it's not rune magic but someone definitely will 😁😁
you have no problem here author
well he did spend the passed five years trying to master every notable skill one could think of so... do with it what you want to do😉
first thanks it means a lot when you guys comment as it gives me insight to your thoughts on the story. now I'm not sure i follow what you mean buh lemme explain what I sorta understand, so currently he is already overpowered as even if I don't explain the enhancement he'd done to himself which spoiler alert already makes him quite invincible [insert title card] in the verse but u don't have to worry as this wouldn't just be some power fantasy where he breezes through the entire story as others would learn his magic as shown in the illusion and that would sorta balance things and bring forth various challenges in the future, so rest easy😉
oh in that case it's easier to explain then, so Raphaels main objective is to help her master in accomplishing whatever goal he sets but she is also a companion so she found it important that his friend/ master(though those two words don't regularly work together 😂) understood the scale of his desires as i had mentioned before, he knew how bad things could turn with magic but subconsciously or consciously ignores it and suppresses the thought. that being said there's another reason Raphael couldn't defend against it and if you read through my reply again, you'd get a spoiler which i didn't want to do, anyways thanks as its fun having these kind of chats with my readers. feel free to let me in on any ideas you have on my story
I dunno if I'm interpreting your comment well so correct me if I'm getting it wrong, now yes with the lord of wisdom he could always tell that there's a dark side to him bringing magic after all he lived in a world technologically advanced where the humans weaponize things the way they weren't meant to, so it should be a forgone conclusion that magic would definitely be used in the same fashion. then again there's a difference between knowing this would happen and seeing the results first hand as humans tend to push what they don't want to think about to the side even if they know this would be a problem e.g the eventual Chaos magic would bring. spoilers too would be the situation with his mom, as he also has doubts that Raphael could easily solve with his current mother that I don't want to really spoil but I'm sure you can guess what the problem is. so yes with Raphael he can definitely simulate what would happen but he subconsciously wants to ignore the eventual problems magic would bring just to further his goals and experiment. i dunno if I'm explaining it right as i sometimes find it hard to convey my thoughts but lemme know if this explanation helped and thanks for the feedback it helps me understand things.
I won't say I'm some master in ASOIF lore, but what I can promise is that by the time the story starts you wouldn't recognize planetos
