I’ve noticed from reading multiple Chinese written stories that “handsome”, in regards to women, means either “Professional” or “Powerful”. My guess in this context is professional. Most Americans would say something along the line of looking “Sharp” (like cutting hearts) or she looks “Smart”. The second option is degrading because it’s history assumes women don’t. The intent behind it was supposed to be a complement at the time the usage was coined.

Math? Traveled two months, at 700km a day, and nearly three months (2.5?) totaled 20k? Let’s break it down. 700 x 30 = 21k, only one month. If it was two 42k, but they said nearly three. Supposing nearly three is 2.5 that’s 52.5km.
