he moment I read our leading lady talking about ‘fantasising perfect love and then finding no one to fit the bill’ I was hooked. After all, we all are looking for our Mr. Darcy, aren’t we? :) I love the constant tug of war going inside the heroine. The scenes of passion are just amazing, the author has made a perfect balance of lust, love and kink in those scenes and never goes overboard. Highly recommended!
As the author said, ‘I feel it was only reasonable to start from the pits’…well I must say, the author is right. All stories need not start with rainbow and sunshine. Though I must admit the opening of the novel surprised me. It was packed and throws you in an emotional rollercoaster. It is not just interesting but also leaves an impact on you. I won’t spoil it for you with disclosures but it deals with troubles of teens which we sometimes miss. I am looking forward to read more.
Black cloak, passages emerging from thin air and caves with celestial creatures! It all had me intrigued particularly as I am not very fond of Fantasy. But this one had me knocked over. The writing style is simple yet engaging. It is very cinematic and allows the reader to imagine every word flawlessly. The plot weaved around the reluctant hero is interesting and I am looking forward to reading the coming chapters.
Nothing can be scarier for a girl than to be married off to a man who’s probably the age of your grandfather!! Where I cannot even imagine it, Liv was thrown into this dreadful situation. While on the island of Manhattan had just landed another man, Damnon. A man who is suave, fierce and ready to claim what was once his!! I am waiting for the two cross their paths and see what sparks fly. I overall liked the plot but writing could be more descriptive and less vernacular.
‘The Breakup’, ‘The New Entry’, it all seems that Jun Men is in for many ups and downs, adventures both welcomed and unwelcome. So far, I am enjoying everything about the story. It is unfolding at a good pace and keeping me engaged. I am really liking the writing style, short sentences just succinct in a very Hemingway method. Looking forward to reading it more. Keep it up!!
Well, the word is ‘fascinating’! So far, I am hooked to the story and the plot is clearly novel. I am enjoying the family equations too. As an avid reader, I always look for command over language in an author apart from the story and character development and I must admit it is all here! Keep up the good work.
