Along the course of those months, Billy talked with Natalie about other things aside from combat, even though she was quite the muscle head. Apparently, her father didn't have the talent to use the fighting style of her tribe, so he developed his own fighting style over the course of the years based on speed and strength. However, he died two years ago, and people said that it was due to his lack of talent and bure fighting style. Natalie wanted to prove to those who said that they were wrong. After chapter 292: This is actually a really good novel. The name of the game is basically character development, maybe Valeria needs some work but we'll prob get that further down the road... Once you get through the horror of the first 40-50 ish chapters you get the continuation of the actual darkness the author wants to convey. I'm loving it, just taking a breather since I'll catch up quickly and I like to binge...

After reading 146 chapters: So, the potential is great. The narrating style is pretty good. That being said, the story you read on the first volume is VERY different to the rest of the novel. The jumps in between memories and povs make it hard to connect with ANY of the characters. It'd be different if it was set up like this at the start, however this looks like the first couple of volumes of a 3k+ chapter novel where only one or two relevant characters have been introduced. Another thing to be aware of is that the world building is pretty lacking overall, there's really no clear picture of how everything is settled (from a writing pov, cause theres prob a pic in discord or smth of the forest and diff settlements). Lastly, the power system is weird asf, both the characters and readers dont know how to rank anything, which leads me to the thing that actually pissed me off: the demonic sword's power is dogshit compared to the price it requires. I think the author has a ton of great ideas and potential, but not really deciding on anything other than making William seem like an NPC leads to frustration. Would also love to have at least some sort of lead on some situatios that the author seems to just skip, like abandoning Chloe twice (at least), because it seems both times "just happened". If you're willing to read through some slow paced build up of an intricate backstory, by all means read on, but the story really hasn't picked up any pace up until now... will probably come back when this story has 500+ chapters Best of luck author!

well, u need a contract to craft a demonic weapon, but maybe not to use it, but if u ask a favour then there needs to be some sort of eq exchange... also the whole vol1 we have no clue what memories were taken away, i understand not telling his tragic background yet, but Mayori taking no small amount of memories has 0 repercusions on us readers cause we dont know if he forgets faces, experiences, feelings, nor ehat order (chronological, importance, or smth else)... also Mayori is weak asf for what she takes, imaybe if she wasnt contracted the high price would be unserstandable...
