i wonder why also... because most of the cultivation novel i read often portray buddhism as good but also at the same time evil... truly baffling but in these novel you can see that evilness does not come from the teaching itself but from how "human" portrayed it to the cultivation world. all in all.. human nature can distort even the most peaceful of teaching due to anger, greed, jealousy, and all those negative emotions lets take it with a grain of peace and put blame on the people who distort it rather than hating the religion itself
